I have this fragrance and I love it. The opening is amazing and the dry down is pretty damn good too. I wouldn't call the dry down boring or flat. The dry down echoes the opening. I usually switch between this and another fragrance for my casual everyday wear.
The opening got me. I did smell this today and i really liked it but since you talked about the dry down not being uninteresting and i honestly thank you for that cause I'm not wasting money and i can look for a different fragrance.
You are a brilliant speaker and have excellent fragrance knowledge. I saw this today and they didn't have a tester. I love the franchise, they are my favourites. Im surprised that Mont Blanc dropped the ball on this one. I will probably buy it. We are heading into Summer here in Australia and Dior Homme Sport and Cologne aren't retailed here even though i have tried them in the USA. Thank you for this review. I will be trying it at a bigger retailer. Awesome job!
I agree with you Stephen I smelled it for the first time today at Macy's the opening notes are amazing but the dry down to me smells just like Nautica voyage maybe that's why your wife loves it so much

If you're looking for a frag to stand up to Dior Homme Cologne you need to take a look at Mercedes-Benz Cologne, not the EDT, the one that says Cologne on the Box and bottle! Maybe if Mont Blanc stepped this up to Spirit Intense I might join in the buying! Thanks for the review.
Great review, as usual! I appreciate your opinion on this one in particular. I bought the original last spring as my first fragrance purchase. I find I dont enjoy it now nearly as much as some other designers ive picked up...versace pour home and eau fraiche, D&G the one and ysl la nuit. so, I didnt have high hopes for this one, however today I sprayed on test strips and was quite impressed with the opening. ill have to wear sample before I buy it for sure. you ever test/review mb starwalker?
Great review. Well presented in clarity and pace. To my unrefined nose, this fragrance reminds me of invictus and sauvage. I love them. I have no idea what "common gene" they have, but if that could be bottled up... i would wear it every day. yum yum.

I absolutely love this scent and I have gotten probably about 6 compliments and I've only had the same for about 2 months you're right that it doesn't last very long but I can probably get about 6 hours out of this and then I'll have to reapply but for the price that I paid for this it does exactly what I want it to do

Today i brought 2 perfume stripes to the office after passing in a perfume store. AHSExtreme and Legend Spirit..... 4 female colleagues smelled them both.... (i didnt say any brands) . AHSE... okay.... Legend Spirit reaction in ALL FOUR was "wowwwwwww this smells sooo niceeeeee.. what is it ? "

I used to love Mont Blanc Legend back before I really got hooked on fragrance, but now it's only a tepid like event though I will remember it fondly. As far as the Legend flankers...well, it's not that legendary to even bother IMO. Regardless, enjoyed the review. Next up, A*Men Pure Tonka? I hope!

This is a solid, great fragrance....and excellent for it's price. The dry down is amazing as well.....nothing boring about this. I easily get 8-9 hrs out of this, 3 hrs decent projection. I disagree with you, but that's what makes opinions unique
Hard to believe you get 8hrs on this one....I love the scent but it's hard to even smell it on you after 3-4 hrs...but it's very windy where I am. That's just me...toodles

You need 20 sprays. Still it only lasts for 4 hrs max.

Question? If my box has the serial number stamped into it not printed and the flammable and recycle icon are not chrome they are black, should I assume it is a fake? I haven't opened it because I noticed the difference after watching this video.
Sir, I am not sure what do you exactly mean by longevity, however, today at 9:00 am I did 5 sprays of legend spirit on my cloth. 10 hours later, at 7:00 pm I can still feel the aroma of the fragrance. And still, it seems very fresh.

I just purchased a bottle of Mont Blanc Legend Spirit and I enjoyed the scent very similar to Invictus .. I have to say that I prefer Spirit over Invictus on my skin

All though I'm new to the scent scene, I've noticed that most department store colognes have the same synthetic smell. Since discovering Scent Split i recommend trying some of the niche colognes before making a decision. Great reviews btw. Thank you.

It's a great after gym fragrance or airplane Fragrance. It's very fresh and won't offend anyone. It's a great fragrance when you just need something to grab and go when you want to smell fresh

FACTS...won't offend a soul... A couple notches above a body spray in my opinion. Didn't smell cheap to me at all. Sometimes I want to smell good but I don't want to smell like I put on a bunch of cologne or am trying to hard

Except it lasts a lot longer, lacoste has the worst longevity of any designer fragrance yet. It's a skin scent in under 2 hours.

What other cologne that is similar to this one would you recommend that has better longevity???? I love Christian Dior sport but I feel like it doesn’t last very long ...
Unfortunately, many fragrances of this style don't have very good longevity.

@@jose28sz rasasi hawas smells similar, less depth, less clean but more fresh and aquatic but also a little sharper. That thing lasts 10+ hours on me and projects like crazy and I've got a newer batch.

Eternity is a classic, but I personally would go with the Dior!

Although I think this is a great review with good information, I feel you should note the age to situation ratio type of thing. A daily wear for a 21 year old isn't the same as that of a 45 year old, otherwise great review!

Bought it recently but it only sustain for max 3 to 4 hours , is it the case for everyone that bought this fragance?
I have oily skin and I applied it one late afternoon around 4 and it lasted on my skin for 8+ hours. I went to a concert and did 8 sprays and it lasted over 8 hours as well

This is pretty non-descript. Bought this last year and maybe i wore it twice. Getting much more selective in my purchases. Would rather buy less often and get something much better.

You will get better reactions and more versatility from Explorer! You can wear Explorer all year round, but this one is mostly for the hotter weather!

I guess peoples opinions have changed. This is an older video so the fragrance was still very new. But most people say this fragrance is very very good, fresh and perfect for the gym even for the office.. this was a negative review but most people like it now?

C'mon now, that's a dumb statement.
I love Aventus as a unique fragrance, but I would have to agree. On me at least, the performance is decent and the smell is unique, but nothing like some say on reviews. I think I got 2 comments on it over the span of 6 months. Nit as heavy hitter as some say. I have run into countless fragrances at Hudson Bay/Nordstrom that I would gladly purchase over another Aventus. IMO

Is it just me or most parfum review dont give any justice to a lot of parfum.... most expert on parfum never like parfum that smell really good when its not original.... but when people smell you, they never say.... this smell soooo good but wait a minute its not original forget what i said finally you stink lol
Haha. I definitely think that a lot of people are critical of designers because of the narrative that they embody or are comprised of cheaper ingredients. Nonetheless, they wear very comfortably and get positive reception. On the contrary, there is also an illusion that niche fragrances are always comprised of the most exquisite ingredients, and that, too, is a misnomer. Thank you for watching.
@@Redolessence I was just having a rant yesterday... lol I love your channel by the way :) Its good to know we can find quality eau de toilet for reasonable price even without buying 300$ fancy parfum! I have Yves St Laurent Y Parfum but I think im going to buy Mont Blanc Legend Intense soon it smell better to me than the spirit version.... but that just my own opinion and taste i guess other may differ from me. I love the fresh smell that balance well the woody masculine smell of the parfum.... to me it smell very casual but still manly.
