Nice presentation of this rare bass clarinet. Thanks for sharing. Where did you find data to match the serial with a year of fabrication (I got a bass clarinet for my son but couldn't connect the dots) ?
Start by searching for serial number lists for the make and model of your instrument. Unfortunately many are missing or incomplete so it may not be possible to date accurately.
@@Jared_De_Leon Your so kind. It's an Eb Bass clarinet with Buffet Crapon Paris' logo Serial "B001008 Made in Germany" identical for both joints but no model name. It's not much to go on. Thanks a lot for your help !
What a fascinating find!
Oh my gosh I wish I had a bass clarinet in C! How awesome is that?!
Whoa super cool find! Always a pleasure to see your videos!
Oh, that's so very nice! What a great find, Jared!
We have the same kind of tuner!

You can play Liszt’s “Mazeppa” with this!!
Imagine a tenor clarinet.

Bass Clarinet in C is rare. I hope that you can get a Low C extension.
These older basses all had low weitten Eb, not Low C
You have TWO of them?!
This is the same one, I got some information wrong in the first video.
Wha.... Uhh.... Huh??
tenor clarinet?
