Great tips! Looks good! Thanks for sharing! 😁👍🏁🏎
You bet! Thanks
looks like a good way to keep the track from sliding around too
Yes for sure! Thanks
Nice idea, good to see another Fat biking slot car racer!
cheers!
Thank you, check out my biking channel Ph fishing and Biking.
Cool idea Steve! Hopefully it helps keep them on the track and get some more tight racing!
Thanks they work awesome! Thanks for watching.
🏁Very cool!!!!! 🏁
Thanks, It's working great!
Very nice. Economical way of making borders. They can get expensive if you buy them.
That's for sure! I tested my proline water base RC body paint on the foam and it sticks real good you can paint them with it with a brush if you want also. Thanks for watching.
Great idea Steve👍
Thanks it worked out great.
Great idea and how to!
Thank you! Cheers!
Excellent idea thank you!
You are so welcome! They are working great!
Looks good and is a great idea, but I think you will have too much grip and the cars will be deslotted if they are drifting
Hi it works fine and you can also paint it with a water base RC paint like proline for the clear bodies. you can use it out of a bottle and can brush it on, I tested it and it works but I am leaving mine stock it seems to be fine. Thanks for watching.
Great Idea, Steve. Looks real smooth! 👌
Thanks it worked like a treat!
That is a good idea! I will look into it for my Carrera track when I get a more permanent layout. I wonder how it would be for actual walls?🏁
Hi it may work for walls to absorb impact, carrera track is not as thick I would try the 8mm one for carrera I have carrera it's like 8.45mm thick but for big 1/32 cars that little difference should not matter at all. see this 8mm thanks for watching. www.amazon.com/EVA-Foam-Cosplay-Density-Foamory/dp/B08YXXCG6J/ref=pd_ybh_a_sccl_2/134-6324404-4768845?pd_rd_w=Bba4s&content-id=amzn1.sym.67f8cf21-ade4-4299-b433-69e404eeecf1&pf_rd_p=67f8cf21-ade4-4299-b433-69e404eeecf1&pf_rd_r=QKWMDQ6NFENF8N8B5Q0D&pd_rd_wg=LJpqg&pd_rd_r=e876b8e9-951c-4acd-8c4d-a5c32eda2584&pd_rd_i=B08YXXCG6J&th=1
Great work Steve, an awesome idea!
👍😊
Thanks they worked out great!
❤used squares cut strips tacked with toothpicks / bamboo squers works great
I just put CA Glue it was fast and easy. You can paint this also I tested out my water base proline RC car paint and it works great if you want to brush some paint on. Thanks for watching.
@@BSslotcars was wondering about paint thanks. have ninco section as well think it is 1mm shorter but thus far I am pleased not sure if it less exspensive? but that wasn't the point thanks great community
Hi guys I’m new to the channel and digging it. You guys are lots of fun! My wife is wondering ( off topic ) where Sheryl got her to tone jacket..lol she loves it. Thanks for sharing your videos with us and keep up the great work! Clark
Thanks glad you enjoy our channel! She told me It’s a Columbia coat. And doubt they still sell it. Bought it a couple years ago directly from their website. SHE FOUND IT! www.amazon.com/Columbia-Womens-Explorer-Hooded-Jacket/dp/B01NCF12ZW?th=1&fbclid=IwAR2En_vw-97jRn0mozcsHUzBmKvczL1_4AagWbpV9LPrRS3vJnZVCtvpI40
Sweet!! Thanks for replying I really appreciate it. You guys do a great job and I’m happy to say you make watching your channel lots of fun. Racing for candy and ownership of the great trophy is cool. Maybe every 3 or 6 months the person who has held ownership of the trophy deserves to be treated to dinner by the loser? Keep it going guys. Thanks again Clark
Cool! Thanks so much and I am sure we will think of some other crazy and fun things to add to our racing!@@Golfer-Dude
Looks a cool way to add borders 🙂
Thanks it works great!
Great idea. Looks vary clean
Thanks it worked out great!! Also found out if you want to paint it you can brush on the proline water base paint that they use on the clear RC bodies and it works.
I cut it horizontally and used the original corner borders to trace the curve , less hassle not sure how many I got out of each roll though
You can do that, I did it the way I chose because for me it was easier it was not bad at all to put on. Your way is harder to cut them out but probably more easy to put them on the track and my way is much more easy to cut them out but harder to make them go around the track. both ways are good I guess! Thanks
can also use for barriers / crash fences😊
Yep a great Idea! Thanks!
Well done 👍
Thanks they work great and you can probably paint them up also with that RC water paint for the clear bodies I bet.
Ni
Nice work man looks like it works well.
It worked out really nice. Thanks very much for watching.
Die Polycar Aussenrandstreifen sind 10 Mal besser als der Quatsch.
Not really this stuff works great no seams and I have both on my track and after doing this I would never pay for the policar borders ever again.
What about carpet tiles cut into shape?
Hi I don't know about using carpet maybe really low like industrial type?
@@BSslotcars I'm English, so most carpet tiles in England have a thick black backing, if you turned them over it's similar to scalextric track thickness and appearance. Easy to cut into shape.
@@boriscovidscamson2911 O yeah that may work.
How many mills is TOMY / AW track then??? 😮😮😮
Hi I think it's 6 or 7mm I know they have 6mm and 7mm in this stuff... I will look later and see. Thanks
Looks like the afx track is 6.27mm on some turns and like 6.4 something on others so I would say try the 6mm it should work I think. www.amazon.com/EVA-Foam-Cosplay-Density-Foamory/dp/B08YXXCG6J/ref=pd_ybh_a_sccl_2/134-6324404-4768845?pd_rd_w=Bba4s&content-id=amzn1.sym.67f8cf21-ade4-4299-b433-69e404eeecf1&pf_rd_p=67f8cf21-ade4-4299-b433-69e404eeecf1&pf_rd_r=QKWMDQ6NFENF8N8B5Q0D&pd_rd_wg=LJpqg&pd_rd_r=e876b8e9-951c-4acd-8c4d-a5c32eda2584&pd_rd_i=B08YXXCG6J&th=1
