- Fearville Hustlers of Louisville APA squares off against Chalkies of Central Indiana APA in the first round of the Winners bracket of the 2024 APA Indiana State Invitational teams' competition.
Two skill level 4s, Fearville Hustlers' Scott DeMasters, plays against Chalkies' Sammi Dotas. Both players need to win three games.
Dotas got off to a hot start after losing the lag. She won the first game after DeMasters made the 8-Ball early. She won the second game and needed to win one more to earn three points.
But DeMasters wasn't going to let Dotas win that easily. He won the third and fourth games to force a hill-hill match, meaning both players needed to win one game.
DeMasters overcame the deficit and won his third game which was the fifth one. He earned two points while Dotas earned one.
That win helped Fearville Hustlers win the match 8-5 and move onto the second round of the Winners' bracket.
