  • 1. *Transformer Components*
    a. *Core*
The core is typically made of laminated steel sheets and provides a magnetic path for the flow of flux generated by the primary winding. It's responsible for transferring energy from the primary to the secondary winding.
    b. *Primary Winding*
The primary winding receives electrical energy from the source and induces a magnetic flux in the core.
    c. *Secondary Winding*
The secondary winding receives the induced magnetic flux from the core and produces electrical energy for the load.
    c. *Insulation*
    Insulation materials, such as
    paper,
    varnish,
    and oil,
are used to electrically insulate the windings and prevent short circuits.
    d. *Tap Changer*
Some transformers have tap changers that allow adjustment of the
transformer's turns ratio to regulate voltage.
    e. *Cooling System*
Transformers may have cooling systems such as oil or air-cooling to dissipate heat generated during operation.
    f. *Bushings*
    Bushings provide electrical insulation
and support for connecting the transformer to external circuits.
