You should trade that Krone disc bine in for a shiny new New Holland. Either a 9 foot or a 13 foot. New Holland is known for their high quality hay equipment.
@@ourfarmstory We’ve had our disc bine since ‘10 and other than a few shock hubs shearing off and needing to be replaced because of hitting a few rocks. The disc mower has been great. As long as it’s stored and well taken cared for, should last a long time.
@@ourfarmstory oh, ya 10 foot 4, I meant those ones. They comes in 10 foot 4, 13, and 16. The 16 are pretty large. We have the 10 foot 4 one and has served us well. Very easy to maintain and they last a long time.
You should just definitely get a new mower not a krone go something better like new Holland or claas mower wise I personally like claas that’s what we run on our farm it works well
When we were pricing mowers the last time claas was a couple thousand more than the rest. We were tempted to spend the extra money and do it at the time. Wish we did that to start knowing what we know now.
You should get a new Hollander discbine can’t beat em
You are doing very good. Knowlegeable for your age.
Thank you!

A new Holland will definitely be something we consider. We have been happy with our new Holland chopper and our old new Holland wagons.

I'm just curious why do you suggest a 9 foot or 13 and not the mid-size 10 foot 4 ones? How many acres do you put through yours a year?

Yea with mowers it’s not always a bad thing to spend a bit more
Yep, that was our idea with the krone. I guess you don't always get what you lag for...
