There are so many people complaining about this movie and tbh it’s rather annoying. I mean the movie isn’t even out yet.It’s obviously gonna be a bit childish because of a coming of age story and controlling emotions. But people of all ages can relate to this. This movie is gonna be amazing in my vision and I hope it does really well. People have made it a meme and it just makes me mad because a lot of the studios worked so hard on the movie. It’s a new idea from Pixar and it’s unique and there’s even so many famous people in this. I’m pumped!

At both 0:41 9:10 (despite the sound cutting out, which could be because of copyright stuff), you can see that Mei raises her arms when she's in her Red Panda form and she's afraid. That's because real-life red pandas stand on their hind feet and raise their front paws over their heads like that when they feel scared or threatened, to make them look more intimidating and larger (though to us humans, it mostly just looks like a teddy bear that wants to give us a hug... don't touch them, this means they're scared and want their space! They can be very territorial!)

Abby (the short one who is wearing a hair band) reminds me so much of Mei from My Neighbour Totoro! She has the same intense energy and sometimes even moves the same way.

YES! That was my first thought as well. Her facial expressions look exactly like she was created by one of the animators from Totoro or Grave of the Fireflies.
