Maaaate, I see you throw away the squid wings,, I skin them and eat them or, use for bait along with the head - minus the tentacles as they fry up nice 😊
Do you ever catch the blue bone on the rod btw?

Ahhhh I will give this ago next time man! Ive caught a couple small blueys on rod but never specifically targeted them. Over the years chasing snapper I've been absolutely smoked so many times, looking back I reckon a few of those have to be big tuskys...

Yeah that’s a good method for direct on fire ay. Can’t eat the skin if you keep the scales on though, I can see how it would be great for putting whole fish on coals etc. I am keen to cook more that way
