Having a bit of a shitty morning, your videos are a valuable reminder the world is a beautiful place. If you want "side channel" content, a gopro tied to a brick and left till it runs out would be a lovely thing to have on in the background. As amazing as all the boating/camping/fishing stuff is, I appreciate the hubbub of a family kitchen around dinnertime. Adventures are great, but home can be pretty decent to. Love your work mate.
I love all of your videos, but the solo island trips are my favorite, but every time I watch one, I get jealous...You eat better on these islands by yourself than some of us do even sitting at a seafood restaurant!
The flat bread tacos looked amazingly good! My mouth was watering when you took that first bite! I'm with you on the mayonnaise! Can't skip out on that! Looks like the reef is coming around again. It should be just fine. I love your videos my brother from another mother! Cheers!
Those plants at the 35:40 mark make excellent fire arrows. we used to break them off at the base, put some electrical tape around the base to prevent them splitting, sink a large nail into the bushy part and soak them in petrol. Launched with homemade bows using weed trimmer wire and bendy sticks. Then it was fire arrow fights at night :) and to chase the icecream van out of our neighbourhood.
A lot to like in this one for Rocket fans! That view of the ocean from the tent under the tree reminded me of when I first watched 3 years ago! Great under water scenery and the cracking and popping reef sound track! Great cooking! Saturday morning entertainment here with coffee! Thanks!
Your solo camping skills and exploration of the uninhabited island are impressive. Thanks for sharing this immersive experience-it's inspiring and delightful to see your outdoor passion come alive!
Rod mate great as usual the area of islands terrific good to see the coral fighting back and no rubbish on the beach . 👍That cook up of squid looks awesome and bet it tasted as good.🤪 Cheers Wombat 🐾🤗🍻
This Man got his legs eaten alive by bugs for our enjoyment, the squid was awesome!! I've always wanted to catch a squid ! that and the flatbread tacos look outstanding !😋I'm glad for the reef updates👍 always love a solo camp, you guys got such nice Islands down under.
What a wicked channel. Discovered it a week ago and have been binge watching. Especially love the vids of camping on the stabicraft. What a great set up and truly inspirational. Keep up the great work. Cheers from NZ, new subscriber, I'm hooked.
Looks like some beautiful weather for some fishing!! I remember seeing your older videos of this spot. Definitely some erosion. Much love from the PNW!!!
#Awesomeness! I always love the snorkel and spear fishing - not available where I live nowadays… so, it’s vicariously awesome to hear the underwater coral-ly sounds. Love it. Great great video as usual.
Hello Rod, my biggest pleasure to see your brilliant video🤩i`m thrilled about the cristal clear weather and water, the sound of the waves is mesmerizing as well ! Happy to watch your adventure and cant wait to see your catch & cook🤗❤👍THY!
Your solo camping trips are so cool you make watching the trip very interesting and informative plus I feel like I'm hanging out with you when I watch. Keep up the good work
Great vid, couple of your shots like @11:00 looked like an aquarium. Water was clear and it was nice to see the corals plus the smaller fish and the turtle. Looks like a healthy ecosystem, the biguns' will be back. Cheers!
I tell you what Iv never been to waters like that and thankyou for the chance to see it 🙏 Love watching your adventures can’t wait for the next one 👌💪🏻🙏🎣🎣
You should've planted the avocado seed on the island . Then you have avocados every time you visit the island, but it was still a great video as always.
After careful consideration, I've come to the conclusion that Rod has the best job in the world! The warm south Pacific, islands to yourself, all you can eat seafood, camping wherever and whenever you want (no reservations, no crowds, no rangers), fishing and snorkeling DAILY, no garbage, no rush hour, AND no BOSSES! ❤❤❤
Amazing episode! Thank You So Much for all the hard work filming and editing, you do a professional job! Lots of clicks on the reefs, they must be recovering somewhat.
You’d have coped some looks over the years in your inflatables & even this boat from larger boats doing trips to these islands 😁 Cheers for posting up your adventures. Inspirational stuff to get out there 👍🎣☕️🥳
Love the content mate. Future reference always check out a hole with a wobbegong in it. I used to dive for crays commercially and that was usually a dead giveaway that a cray was inside, the wobbegong is parked up waiting to ambush octopus coming after the crayfish. I don't know if the crays take up residence with the shark or the other way around but it was better than 90% hit rate of finding them together.
Wify and I watch all your episodes and can’t wait to see the next one lol I remember when you were servicing the weather stations and camping on those islands , been a while eh?
Thanks for the vid, Rod. It's always nice to wake up here in Perth and see there's a new RoKkiT KiT vid up, ha ha! Loved the underwater footage, loved the scenery on those islands, and loved that you brought the squid back home to share with the family. Awesome! 😊 I do have to say I miss the good old thong-hunting days instead of bringing your normal shoes, ha ha! Those rocks are sharp though, so all good. Looking forward to the next one!
I like the way you're leaving the camera on the bottom for a minute and letting the reef go back to normal around it. Should find some nemos and give us a long butchers. 45:48 oh you found him. Another good spot to leave a camera is in front of some cleaner wrasse.
Always awesome and jealous of the squid! On thing we just do not have much of - little north you can get them certain time of year but water too hot - anyhow always awesome vid man, Cheers
Bro... you scuba'ing in the reefs only to nail lunch with the spear gun is nothing short of ASMR. So full of life, even tho the corals might not be doing too great in all places. Don't stop doin' these.
Love your videos Rod. As an experienced freediver I feel compelled to give you a good bit of advice regarding diving alone particularly considering the majority of accidents occur whilst spear fishing. As you perform repeat dives the blood will accumulate CO2 volume and O2 will decrease. This is known as hypoxia. In my training we were taught to wait a good few minutes and up to ten minutes of solid breathe ups before repeat dives. This allows CO2 to dissipate normally. I had one close call performing several repeats on a line to 20 metres whereby in the last 5 metre ascent came very close to blackout. It came without warning and from then on I've always been very careful. Take care out there bro 🤙🏼
Weird man. I am still subbed but I get zero video suggestions from you on my feed. Its been months. I thought you stopped making videos, freaking youtube! I had to deliberately come to your channel, but glad to see you are still here.
Great shot of those school of parrot fish (or what looks like it). But what type of fish are those that look like baby orcas; the ones with black on the top in soft gray bottoms? (46:15)
Looks similar to Eborac Island? right on tip of Cape York proper. If you go onto Google Satellite maps and zoom in using Cape York tip as reference point.
I would love if you would do voice over narration while diving so we know what you are looking for or seeing. It would tell a story, kindda like ollie from NZ does his. Id love to do half the things you do Rod! Keep it going.
He gets a thumbs up always, before I even watch his vids. Just because I know in my heart he puts his heart into this. Wish he had millions of subs, but it is what it is. At least we are the lucky ones who get to see great content from the heart. That's what matters to me.. Thank you bro for giving us your all.. I'm not a rich man or I would sponsor you, I just can't. Thanks for the great content.
Have you ever tried to cool the fish inside the coconut over the fire. You could make like a coconut curry meal with the nut shell as the bowl afterwards
Love your videos man! Noticed you don't put a small poly tarp under your tent. It can really help protect the bottom of your tent. Just my 2 cents. Keep 'em coming! :)
Damn, I LOVE Islands.... My favorite place to camp when I'm up in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Funny enough I met an Australian guy the last time I was up there, he'd been coming up with his American friend since the 70s. I'd love to see you do a video up there, unfortunately (or fortunately tbh) it's kind of a hidden gem way up north in Minnesota so it's far away from where most fishing youtubers will find themselves, ha.

I came for the cooking and fishing stayed for the peace
I’m fairly certain Kit could get millions of subscribers just by laying his camera on the reef like he did in this video. It’s always mesmerizing

I don't understand how RoKKiT KiT doesn't have Millions of Subscribers.
You can’t get to millions unless you get to 474,000 FIRST! 😅
He's hard core man
Same man but we gotta hit the like button to help him get more out there
To get more subscribers, he needs to catch more fish, not only one or two fish, he needs to catch at least 6 our 7 fish
I agree!!!
Thanks!
I love all of your videos, but the solo island trips are my favorite, but every time I watch one, I get jealous...You eat better on these islands by yourself than some of us do even sitting at a seafood restaurant!
Wow! Reef has more life and a bit more color! Seeing coral bleaching make my heart sink.
Great! Day off, 7AM, night storm has just ended, I have my kabanos and bułka and something to watch! Thank you!
A gentleman that deserves millions of subs ,awesome Vid as always ,thank you Rod love from S.A
Amazing series and this video might your best yet. The snorkel scenes are pure art. I could watch them on loop.
The flat bread tacos looked amazingly good! My mouth was watering when you took that first bite! I'm with you on the mayonnaise! Can't skip out on that! Looks like the reef is coming around again. It should be just fine. I love your videos my brother from another mother! Cheers!

Great trip and beautiful spot. Even a feed for the family. Living the dream
10:25 oh the ocean is so beautiful, thank you for bringing this beautiful scene😊😊
Man I was just thinking about when I first started watching your channel. You’ve come so far. Edits are even more crisp 👌🏽 just great content 💯
Great video, action packed with simple catch and cooks, camping, spear fishing…. Love this type of content, inspiring, thank you!

Beautiful spots, Skipper.! Thanks a lot for sharing. Hope the coral withstands & abides. 🧜♂️👍 from Barcelona.

Cheers Wombat 🐾🤗🍻
Coral are fighting back because it's Winter! As soon as it gets warm again those reeef unfortunately will burn again.
Great content... As always. Loved the underwater landscapes on display for us all to see
What a wicked channel. Discovered it a week ago and have been binge watching. Especially love the vids of camping on the stabicraft. What a great set up and truly inspirational. Keep up the great work. Cheers from NZ, new subscriber, I'm hooked.
Nice stripey and reef footage. Very relaxing to watch. Hope those midge bites chill quickly!

Love watching your adventures can’t wait for the next one 👌💪🏻🙏🎣🎣
The waves and water hitting the boat would make great ASMR.
Wow! Reef looking a lot better than the last time and a lot more fish activity!
As always another great video. It’s nice to kick back after work and just watch some rokkit kit. Cheers!
It's good to see some parts on the mend.
Awesome, as always Rod.
Those clown fish were insane.
Absolutely love watching your fishing adventures. Even on vacation I am stoked to watch. Yewww
Thanks, Rod! What a pleasure!!!
You should've planted the avocado seed on the island . Then you have avocados every time you visit the island, but it was still a great video as always.
Squid looked perfect! Thanks another cool video!
Take some Paw Paw Ointment with yuh, you'll be amazed (if yuh don't already know) how good it relieves & heals bites like that!
After careful consideration, I've come to the conclusion that Rod has the best job in the world! Awesome video, always! Thx!!
This video saved me from the crappiest day (maybe a word) from all my youtube subscriptions.....awesome!!!

Another great video, keep'em coming

Did you ever train as a chef Rod? Or is it all home cooking skills?
Looks similar to Eborac Island? right on tip of Cape York proper. If you go onto Google Satellite maps and zoom in using Cape York tip as reference point.
What a meal Rod!!! Wish I was at the table for that one. What did you name the pup?
I would love if you would do voice over narration while diving so we know what you are looking for or seeing. It would tell a story, kindda like ollie from NZ does his. Id love to do half the things you do Rod! Keep it going.
Perfect video for a saturday relax morning! Hey Rod, what happened to ‘Misty’?
God, every time I watch your vids Rod I get extremely hungry. I love fish tacos.
Great video as always! But I'm fairly sure you desiccated Moana's family pile of rocks 😂
❤ LOVE your Island videos

Those fish were definitely busy restoring the reef. You can literally hear them chewing up old coral.
Have you ever tried to cool the fish inside the coconut over the fire. You could make like a coconut curry meal with the nut shell as the bowl afterwards
im going to move there and forget all my family drma this right here is my dream and im tired of waiting ty sir you show me the light

Another great video!
Man, every time I watch a vid I wanna move to Oz. Maybe one day; the music scene is awesome over there too..

A little baking soda and water solution (paste) works well on those midget bites and reduces the itching almost immediately...
