I've a couple of questions on void years. 1. I know they accelerate and you absorb the cap hits all at once when that player is no longer on the roster, but when that happens are you paying the entire cap hit each of those years are listed at or is the total cap hit smaller than what it looks like on paper when its spread out over a couple years? For example, if player X has 2 void years at 10 million per, when the player is no longer on the roster is that entire 20million dollars in cap hits now dead cap on the teams books for the upcoming season? 2. I recently heard that players that sign who had void years dont award teams with comp picks, similarly to players who are cut, is that true? Obvious example would be dalvin tomlinson. 3. When a player is traded are those void years part of the contract or does it work similarly to if a player walks in free agency and that team has to pay those void year hits, so for example if we traded kirk all of those void year hits would be dead cap for this year on the vikings books or does the team that trade for him inherit them and they're that teams problem to deal with?

Don't like it either Dave. Trade or cut.
