    On my pedal set, I replaced the much too soft elastemors with Hawkeng Mid-soft and replaced the spring with an car engine valve spring. Made the perfect match.

    This pedal design sets the pedals at a nearly flat angle. With the pedal plate set low, it soon becomes uncomfortable for your ankles. I found that elevating the pedal plate makes the flat angle much easier to manage.

    I purchased Fanatic's Clubsport v3 pedals when they first came out. The Clubsports pressure goes directly to the load call. I tried everything to get a better feel for the brake, but enter got it right. I just ordered the SimJack Pro set with its spring/elastomer design. SimJacks take on the Neusinkveld design loadcell force transfer, is much better idea. This has improved my control of the brake by leaps and bounds, and at a much... much lower price.

      For this price it’s very good choice. After installing HE elastomer kit and preload clone spring from the Ultimates they are perfect for me 😉

    Great video and thank you for taking the time to make it! Not many concise videos about this product so it makes it a daunting purchase, yet curious haha. I have some questions based on your video...
    1) Do you think the bushing tightness could be fixed DIY, or is it something not worth looking to fix and not really a problem?
    2) Do you like the software that comes with them, and is does it work pretty well?
    3) Since you don't like the pedal plate, curious as to why and what kind of alternative will you go with?
    4) Do you feel the hydraulic rods are a necessary purchase for the product? Do you feel them doing there part? And if so what pedals do you think most benefit from them?
    5) What do you mean by progressivism exactly? I figure its not the travel, maybe you mean the pressure isn't building up high enough as you push down, any maybe you want more of that?
    6) Could you please do a follow up video on your own customization to the pedals as you do them? For example if you get the Heusinkveld elastomers kit, could you please create a video on the process and your thoughts afterwards? Maybe a "mods" video of sorts!
    6) (extra) In addition if you change up the throw on the brakes, also video on this please!
    7) I noticed older batches came with rusted springs, this doesn't look to be the case with these. Are you happy with the springs on the product?
    I look forward to your response, and it may help others well. Thanks!

      1. Of course it can be fixed as everything but I don’t think about it too much now. I probably will tweak it in future but it is small thing.
      2. Maybe I missed something but this came without software. I used DiView, same which is used with HE pedals and other stuff like this. Do I like it? Yes I think is quite good and easy, but this minus values of LC sometimes gives users a bit of problems. But it is also small thing. SimRacing Corner share cool video how to fix some problems if you have it.
      3. I just dont like heel plate, I already removed it but not sure if I will back to it with lower distances.
      4. It is not neccessary but I like it very much and with this price I belive its good deal.
      5. I mean that I feel pressure rising at The very end. It should start easy (short spring), more pressure (longest elastomer) and fast pressure increase (all elastomers together).
      6. Yeah I will share follow up because I have cool results. But not So fast. I need to get HE Ultimate brake spring replica to finish my video. Also I need to tell about few critical points for people who also want to use HE elastomer kit.
      7. Too fast to talk about spring quality. Now it looks good but spring from brake is just too long.
      Anyway buying this pedals is good deal but allways you need to check what you get. I saw that SimRacing Corner get this pedals without one mouting hole in cluth bottom. For sure SJ supply spare parts for free (they have quite nice support).
      As far I know to build similar setup without friends with cnc machines and „free material”, price with all stuff, shipping costs, electronics etc could be similar to complete SimJack product.
      I decided to save my DIY time and just make few small tweaks if I notice something that I dont like 🙃

      @@MR.EVERLOST they are great. i have them and i just ordered the ultimate plus kit. i did it bc not only do you get the great brake elastomer setup but you get the control box and can now use heusinkveld smartcontrol software which is more stable and better than simjacks.if you buy husk elastomers only you are around 30ish and they dont fit well and then you want a different spring another 10 or so, a rod to make the elastomers fit . after a few mods you are close to the 100ish the ultimate+ kit costs. and you have inferior control box and software. just letting you know you have options to make your pedals basically identical to the 1000 dollar ultimates

    Thanks for the review, I am french so sorry for my english skills... As my setup, have you got a lateral slack/play on each pedal ? I try to squeeze the screw at the bottom of each pedals but it is always there... Thanks in advance for your reply

    • @MR.EVERLOST
      @MR.EVERLOST  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes this play is on each pedal. You can’t remove it with stock bushings / brass sliders. Tightening screw not help you because play is between bushings and brass sliders. Probably bushings make this play because hole in brass sliders is 10mm and bushing diameter is 9.9mm (I need to measure it again but I remember something like this). In datasheet bushings has 10mm diameter So data is wrong or they have tolerancje (0.1mm) or someone grind them too much to fit into sliders 😀 who knows..

    Hi, I was choosing between the Moza SR-P and these pedals. These pedals have a very low price right now: about $180 with a coupon for a maximum set with 3 hydraulic dampers. And the Moza SR-P is $263 O_o. I haven't found much about these pedals, but some people have told me that they have problems with electronics, low 60Hz refresh rate, and inaccurate sensors. Maybe it was a bad copy.
    Also, about the dampers, do you recommend taking all 3 of them, or would some pedals be better without them?
    A lot of people are praising SR-P pedals now, but they're even worse in terms of performance, and the price is much higher. Isn't that right?
    I'm switching from the standard T3PA :)

    • @MR.EVERLOST
      @MR.EVERLOST  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had T3PA electronic before and only know that this is much better. I dont know how many Hz it has but feeling is really good. I belive that some people could have different problems with each part of pedals, even electronic because of low or lack of quality control. Price is so low that I dont belive if someone there use control list and check each small steps of building this pedals before shipping. I bought them because 1) I can fix a lot by myself 2) I have warranty 3) price is low 4) construction of pedals is really good. Pedals like Fanatec, Moza or Thrustmaster is good but they also had different problems in time of usage and you never know if something happen with your hardware.
      About dampers… I put on brake Heusinkveld elastomers and now it is much better. But I recomend not buying this elastomers yet. It is not plug and play and I want to share what is required if someone wants to use it and how it feels. Need to order last component to finish video 😅 I hope it would be soon.

    you use hydraulic on all three?

    • @MR.EVERLOST
      @MR.EVERLOST  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you asking for this 3 extra rods - yes. Finally I don’t know if they are hydraulic rods or not but I use it and really like it. If you wonder if it’s good for throttle I think it’s great for throttle, especially when you cut the travel range (full range is too much - I use half of it and it’s more realistic, more proper and better for stock spring).
      Previously I had diy pedals without this and for sure now it works better for me. Also this can avoid a bit of „wobbling” - I show it on my second SimJack video where I put on them HE elastomers. 3 rods is a good setup and I never saw anyone who remove any of this kind of rods from HE ultimates.

    • @MR.EVERLOST
      @MR.EVERLOST  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@gunnimikki yeah I know. It’s good as quick fix but stock elastomers are garbage so replace them is anyway required. People tweak brake pedal in so many ways and this modifications are subjective. My second video show how I put HE elastomers on the brake - it was game changer for me especially with spring mod copied from HE.
      After some time I can only say that elastomers and stock spring is the worst part of this product. When you buy for example Simagic or Heusinkveld you can adjust brake as you like and you have parts to do that. Here you need to find idea and good quality parts as replacement to make it work as it should.
      Regarding to skateboard parts…I saw video with skateboard elastomers but is a cheap and temporary solution. On SimJack discord you can find examples what happened with stock elastomers after few months of use. I noticed their damage after 6h of playing, so I removed them as fast I can.

    I find the idea of a "realistic break" to be kind of ridiculous, realistic compared to what? No 2 car has the same break feel and travel. Sure if you want to reproduce a specific car, you have a reference point, but having a reference point doesn't mean the setup you currently have isn't realistic, as it could be exactly the same as a different car then your reference.

    • @MR.EVERLOST
      @MR.EVERLOST  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh I see you are a very precise person, just for you: I've never driven a car with such a soft brake and such a long travel. I still maintain that the feel in the stock SJP is not akin to what you experience in real cars (regardless of their type, especially racing cars).
      The aim of this video was to highlight that the product has potential but needs minor modifications. As seen on Discord, many SJP owners are aware of this and especially focus on the brake mods.
