Interesting hack. I did notice that when viewed from behind the light coming rearward may be annoying when lighting up something in front of you. I wonder if you could cut the diffuser down before attaching so it would not shine rearward. However, your design would do well pointed straight up to light up a room like a table lamp. Great for a power outage. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
It's not that bright rearward it's the camera. You'll be able to look at it and it won't bother but From the front it will... It's great for power outages, camping, working on cars or working around the house
