  • LPGA Golfers REVEAL What They REALLY Think Of Caitlin Clark - She DESERVES Better From WNBA!
Caitlin Clark has made headlines countless times for her jaw-dropping performances on the basketball court, but this week, she’s turning heads for a different reason. Instead of commanding the hardwood, Clark is stepping onto the lush fairways of Florida to compete in the LPGA Pro-Am event, “The Annika,” hosted by golf legend Annika Sorenstam at Pelican Golf Club. But this isn’t just any event; Clark’s participation symbolizes her expanding influence in the world of sports. Paired with the world’s top-ranked golfer, Nelly Korda, and celebrated with remarkable fanfare, Clark’s presence is redefining what it means to be a multi-sport athlete.

@@BasketballTopStories Absolutely. Sooner or later reality always seems to bite those who try to suppress it. The W tried to suppress Caitlin and now she's even more popular than she was at the beginning of the season and it's growing. Who knows? At some point we may see her on the soccer field because she was a heck of a player in that sport as well.

@BasketballTopStories The other amazing thing is that she is adored by everyone from 2 to 92 as the Christmas song lyrics say. @@BasketballTopStories She was only a best kept secret until middle school when she was playing AAU ball. In high school, there is one video on here that I just laugh at because a group of boys from the school Dowling was playing were in the upper bleachers chanting "overrated" at Caitlin, and she did what she did best. She put in one 3 after another after another. A view of the bleachers showed that they had vanished, lol. I don't know how many schools recruited her, but her main choice was always Iowa. I wish we could have watched her first year at Iowa, but cardboard cutouts were the only people getting to watch other than the people who had to be there and didn't have COVID. Her sophomore year was impressive, but she really started turning heads her junior year with broken records, and of course in her senior year she broke just about every conceivable record except for rebounds. There is a permanent painting on the court at Carver Hawkeye Arena where she made the shot from that broke Pistol Pete's record, and it was a logo 3 (of course, she wouldn't have done it any other way). There was a temporary mark put on the court after the game and we were told that it would stay until the season was over, and then a permanent mark would be placed. It has 22 and CLARK in a square placed exactly where her feet were when she lofted that shot. It wasn't her longest 3 ever, but it was what counted. Sorry for the book.

The WNBA commissioner should be fired I think that she actually dislikes Clark and she hates the fact that so many people are cheering for her and not all players like they do for her so she wanted the refs to make sure they did their very best to try and put her in her place I do believe and I believe that there’s a lot of people that are watching the WNBA now that the commissioner should be fired cause she knows that the refs are letting players just hammer on her thinking that she was going to quit but she proved her wrong and now everybody knows that she’s as crooked as a snake and evil as a weasel

As the video shows and as we all saw, how utterly disrespectful it was for Cathy Engelbert to present Caitlin the ROTY Award in the fashion that she did; with a phone call. If Engelbert didn't want cameras and the Press present, which was quite obvious, the least she could have did was given her the award personally but she didn't even do that. Also contrast how Caitlin was treated by Nelly Korda, the best player in the LPGA, and A'JA Wilson, the W's "best player". The difference is like *_Sunshine Blue Skies vs a Torrential Downpour._*
I wrote The Following almost 2 months ago:
"The WNBA has no concept, or "Acting" as if they don't, of what marketing their most popular player means. The LPGA realized that after Caitlin's golfing statement if she got with them in some way their viewership could skyrocket if only for a short time....
...Whereas right from the jump The WNBA was completely oblivious to this understanding, (or were they?) and were, in one way or another, disturbingly trying to take down their Golden Goose. Unbelievable....
'if Caitlin decides to split the WNBA this fan will be splitting right along with her.'

Here is the thing. I think that Caitlin is about as perfect of a basketball player AND person as I will ever see. Good parents try to influence their children, and it is pretty obvious that CCs' parents were instrumental in providing the proper encouragement and support during her childhood. Yet, if you go way back to when she was a small child she had this desire, a drive to WIN even if it resulted in leaving one of her brothers with staples in his head. Rough little girl! A'ja Wilson became MVP because she broke the most points scored in one season, Caitlin broke 62 records and only got ROTY and not unanimous, which is a disgrace, Caitlin should have been MVP and unanimous ROTY, if the WNBA had done the right thing for Caitlin, there would have been more coverage for the finals, but instead they cheated and linked it to three other sporting events, and took the total sum of viewers from all four events as there's, another way of cheating, then not giving Caitlin her dues in her assists stats of 337, Cathy Englebert has to go.

This year the winner of the tour championship tourney is going to win $4 million. It was only $2 M last year. The WNBA would do itself a huge service by studying the LPGA and learn that professionalism and class attract viewers by offering likable athletes you WANT to root for instead of a thug league which best describes the WNBA. i love watching Caitlin Clark when she shoots a three or teeing off in a golf tournament. I never watched the WNBA before Clark, I won’t watch games where she is not playing. She outshines all other players and lifts her team mates. Excited for the next season for the Fever. She is amazing. Watching her is like watching Steph Curry. Amazing!

The LPGA received Clark in a more genuine way than the WNBA. Way to go, Clark and the LPGA!

This shows a very good reason why WNBA are in the RED -10 mil a year where LPGA knows how to market their players to make money, the reason WNBA leaders stated why they don't do this for players made no sense to me at all. I still think they have the wrong personal running the WNBA or not running it depends how you look at it.

I hope CC works on her golf game to the point she can be competitive in LPGA play
Beyond that, she should QUIT the WNBA and play in Europe or play golf
The WNBA doesn't appreciate her, and if she doesn't leave, she will be permanently injured or have a stomach ulcer by the time she's 25

Caitlin Clark "Is the Gold Standard" of how we as people need to treat each other. This Ex-Airborne Soldier feels she is a "Real Hero" for the example she sets. We the people "Adore" her. Evan if she did vote Democrat. God Bless her.

So she goes to play golf and slows the groups behind while the LPGA is jumping up and down with ear to ear smiles showing the high level of intelligence among golfers.
Next time she will have shaved strokes off her handicap. Before long she'll golf at tournaments without the '-am' suffix. Annika is wonderful and always has been.

This is analogous to the WWE. There were certain pro wrestlers who became so popular that they became the face of the company and were able to dictate their own terms. Their brand outshone the WWE brand. Vince McMahon, WWE owner, would not let happen again and the company has never pushed or promoted another wrestler beyond a certain level of popularity. Let's see how the WNBA goes forward.

I won't watch the WNBA next year. Doesn't matter if they have CC and Paige. Two players can not compensate for the boredom the other 154 bring to the table. (It is 154 cause they are adding a 13th team...if they are adding a 14th team that means the quality of talent gets watered down by 12 more)
