This thing is so cheap and useless. It took over an hour to take any of the gel polish off even after a ton of filing. The base layer still didn't come off. Don't bother! It's also non-returnable

Hmmm I recently used it to remove a 2 week old shellac manicure and it worked perfectly fine. I think it will depend as well on the type of gel being removed. I don’t think it’s useless, however I also don’t recommend buying it from them because it’s more expensive for no reason. I also soaked for about 30 min, so def not over an hour. Gel removal has a lot to do with the gel type, maybe if I was removing Beetles or LMM (which r super stubborn for me to remove always regardless of how), this wouldn’t have removed it in 30 min either. I don’t know

I tried this on a gel manicure that was filed down. In about 8 minutes, I was able to scrape the gel off all nails except my thumbs, which took an extra soak. The apparatus does not get very hot and I am doubtful that this would work as advertised on dip powder. I would prefer to go back to putting an acetone soaked paper towel in a bag and submerging it in hot water to remove dip powder nails and feel like it didn't save much time over the old cotton ball and aluminum foil method for removing a gel mani. It had much higher hopes regarding this product's effectiveness.

If it removes gel it will remove dip. At the chemical level when it comes to removal, all those enhancements are more similar than we think. It will work on dip. I sometimes find some dips easier to remove than some gels, depends on the product and quality and stuff. It’s hit and miss, u know? But this will work for dip too, give it a try! 😝

would you recommend this for regular nail polish? looking for a faster, easier way to get off glitter polishes. I use regular polish but full scope: base, 2-3 color, top coat.

I wouldn’t buy this for glitter, but if u already own it for gels u could use it for glitters (seems like overkill tho but it will work). For glitter removal I usually recommend this:

Can you please test with a 2 week manicure? Interested in buying this if it actually works with longer wear!

I have and yes it works just fine. I’ve tested this a lot and it’s become my fav way to remove actually. I just wouldn’t buy it for the price and website I did because there’s cheaper on Amazon

Well, okay, you tried to go U.S.! I guess I can do without but interesting review. I did learn that Vaseline protects skin from acetone so 😃👍.

I was trying to get a higher quality build machine. Even if almost everything is made in China nowadays, things that are shipped from the US sometimes have better quality since they may come from higher end manufacturers and stuff. U know? But nope… haha they fooled me.

This seems like no way faster than using aluminium foil wraps on your nails. Ok you might need to soak 5min longer with wraps (and clips or plastic bag for some extra heat?) than with this machine. But assembling it, heating it up, cleaning it... you are losing more time I think🤐

For actual gels, plastic clips are super slow for me (the acetone evaporates from in between the clips, the close is not tight enough)… foils r good for me. I actually prefer dipping my fingers in the little acetone thingie I showed towards the end than foils even. It depends on the product and whether I need to use my hands or not while I wait haha. I think this might be faster tho, and the setup is once only… however, now u have another gadget to store. Idk… it depends i think. Could totally be shit for some people and useful for some 😂

It will break within 3 months. Terrible product, it just stops working and no customer service.

This is what I was trying to avoid by buying one from “LA”, because usually I’ve had bad experiences with Chinese products (very few have high quality), but they fooled me 😂
