- Earl Holloman started his movie career in 1953 and three years later earned a Golden Globe for his performance in “The Rainmaker.” From then, he appeared in a long list of films with genres ranging from Westerns to Science Fiction. Among his many big-screen credits are: “Gunfight at the O. K. Corral,” “Forbidden Planet,” “The Trap” and “The Bridges of Toka-Ri.” In addition, the noted actor played the memorable television roles of Sundance in “Hotel de Paree” and Lt. Crowley in “Police Woman.”
Holloman is also a longtime champion of animals and anti-cruelty legislation. He led Actors and Others for Animals for several years before handing the reigns over to the group’s current head Jo-Ann Worley. He continues to be an advocate for our furry and feathered friends.

I’ve always had a crush on Earl Holliman since I saw him on Wide Country. When I got married my husband was even jealous of the fact that I had a crush on him even though I had never met him. We did go to Hollywood and we did see his star on the Walk of Fame. ⭐️
I love Earl Holliman in the rain maker
I enjoyed Mr. Holliman in Hotel de Paree, which was based on real life proprietor Louis Dupuy and his story of second chances in Georgetown, Colorado.
Holliman did two classic sci fi pieces Forbidden Planet and The Twilight Zone pilot.
