- In this part, the final battle against the fallen war god, Duma! His battlefield is massive, his lackeys extremely powerful and our troops, determined!
Part 2: • Fire Emblem Echoes: Sh... - เกม
That shield throw though
Just like the original on NES
Reminds me a bit of Wind Waker when Link kills Ganondorf.
@@finalbossd no.

Duma: make valentia strong, and kind
Alm: I promise
Narrator: and his descendants essentially became Genghis khan. conquering all of valm with an iron fist
Awakening reference. 😉

Crit shield toss!
What I don't get is how Falchion is called the "God killing blade" but in Fire Emblem Awakening all it can do is seal away Grima. Grima is on par power wise as a God, hell, he even kills Nagi, the voice of Naga (who they all call Naga, for some reason, despite their legends saying Naga was a male.)
Valentia has a different Falchion.
@@miceltusav88 fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Falchion_(Valentia)
Alverdeo Maybe the Falchions can kill Duma specifically, but Grima’s power exceeds gods. If you had a Marth or Lucina Amiibo, they can kill Duma. Also, Roy’s “binding blade” can kill Duma.
@@finalbossd My guess is the Falchion can't kill Grima because Grima is a man made dragon if I remembered right.
Is Duma even killed though, I think he is sealed in some kind as well, as he warns about them not waking him.
Heard a voice and followed it because hey, why not?
I mean if you're surrounded by enemies, doing something is better than doing nothing!
Mae's hilarious.
I actually feel bad for Duma because he's basically suffering the Dragon's version of dementia.
Ngl, was holding out for alm and celica to have some sort of support convo in the fight with dumas, tho i guess their support has pretty much just been the main story
The Killer Bow is the most broken thing in the whole game.

Thank You!
Thanks!
My only complaint about this video is this. If were possible I would have liked to have seen Soyna defeat Hestia and Marla. I believe it was her responsibility as their sister to end their pain. In the least it would have provided closer for her character's story.
Oh, I didn't think of that, though it would feel empty since she doesn't have any special dialogue with them or even Jedah.
I see, that is disappointing, but why create a sub plot for a character like that and not add special dialogue(rhetorically speaking)?
I dunno. It does seem like an oversight from the developers.
@@archive881 It gets even worse. In her ending dialogue it is revealed that she tries to reverse the witch creation process, but somehow ends up a witch herself, taking residence at Fear Mountain.
@@greendemon905 I didn’t get that from her ending. Witches are made from girls’ souls being given to Duma, but he’s dead so how could Sonya be turned into a witch? My guess is she didn’t want anyone to disturb her research so she used her magic to keep people away. Not an ideal ending for her but better than sharing the same fate as her sisters.
It is a shame Sonya doesn’t get a conversation with her sisters, but if she did, she’d probably tell them she would help end their suffering. I’m just glad her sisters talked/thought about her in the end.
1:57 this quote is my favorite line in the entire game.
And its bugging me.
There is an orchestral mix of Twilight of the Gods somewhere on youtube that starts with this quote and I cant find it.
The music is so good in this battle
That Final Attack Animation soo👌
Jedah: All glory onto Duma!
Me: No! Its ALL GLORY ONTO ALM AND CELICA!!!
I just avoided Jedah altogether
Anyone else disappointed Duma looked like a dragon instead of a grotesque whatever the hell he was in the original?
Yeah... I guess Intelligent Systems wanted to keep it Nintendo friendly.
Late reply, but he was still a dragon in the NES version too. His flesh doesn't look as goopy, but it's closer than you think. A rotting, decaying corpse of a dragon with one eye on the forehead.
37:11 my favorite part.
How do you keep avoiding every attack? He seems to hit my units no matter what, even when his rate is like 36%. Are you doing something in particular or am I simply unlucky as shit?
That's Fire Emblem for you, you get unlucky, you have to restart. This wasn't my first attempt, either.
@@Hawlo I thought all you veterans did maps flawlessly on your first try! You made me feel a bit better about my playing (although I'm still sloppy af)
@@darkgladiator27did you managed ti do it? I just cant
@@Hawlo I remember when I first picked it up, completely whiffed on an 89% and broke out into a huge laughing fit because of it. Wouldn't have FE be any other way either lol
Out of all the fire emblems ive played this final map absolutely gave me the most trouble 2 hours trying to come up with a strategy only reason I made it through was a lucky crit on jedah get rid of that and nada game over
I wonder if someday Will be a Switch port
Hey, where’s Saber?
I may have an answer but you may not like it
I don't want the final map bgm playing over the attacks!
So replace them with the normal battle BGM when Conrad has rejoined this late!
Duma nuts-
Is Leon lucien dodge?
Sure is.
Same voice actor as Felix in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
As well as Naesala in Heroes.

36:26 could have been better with the Ender Dragon Death sound.

This map blows so hard lmao 😂
Saludame pls
All those unique lines are amazingly cliché...
Laying the usual "ignorant but hopeful" stuff there with the subtlety of an anvil. Pretty cringey.
yeah sometimes, you have to take the cringe in the face like that, it almost hurts. ouch.
Not sure what you were expecting from a Japanese SRPG about a troupe of teen troopers fighting god 🤷♂️
@@valkyrion_ex1173 Very little actually, but still hoped for a little bit more than the generic shonen-crap type of quotes... I mean the main moron is already gonna say the "my bonds, my friends, and you are evil" lame talk by the bucketloads so why even bother giving others lines that come across as just as generic and forgettable.
How’s any of this cringey?
@@joshuagarcia4077 It’s cringey because we’ve heard it countless times before, and really what it all boils down to in terms of meaning can be found in every piece of media geared towards children since the beginning of media itself, probably.
