ah yes, the simple treble jig. i love seeing others variations of it. maybe you could teach her the second step, and when she gets comfortable with it, you could teach her the slow steps. i also wonder how she would look doing just soft shoe dances, like the reel.
@@mary-catherinecroshaw6369 double and light jigs are completely different things, at my school lol. double jig is in hard shoes, while light jig is in soft shoes, I thought that this was treble/double jig most likely because I was very sleep deprived writing that. i now realize that is is in fact light jig😭
@@makayla_702 so TIL double jig is the name for the music, not the dance, and treble jigs and light jigs are both double jigs. Full disclosure I have not danced for ten years and I was like hmm maybe I'm wrong about this. But it turns out like I said it's the name of just the music. Try this: put on treble jig music and hum your light jig steps reeeeaaaaally slowly- they're the same type of music. I literally just realized this after like 13 years of dancing and 10 years of retirement 😂

I do Irish Dance and i nearly quit it. Since the teacher was really rude and would swear at the 9 year olds. Until I snapped something into her mind and said “Why are you just so rude?!” I got slapped on the arm for it, the woman got arrested and they was a new and nicer teacher. Her daughter
