Just got my first hammer coral I’ve had a Duncan lps for about a month and a half and have been dipping into the lps side as my tank matures. The hammer looks amazing couldn’t be happier
@@fragboxcorals I bet there’s heaps to go thru and organise the edits for, hopefully we still get lots of typical March side tracks and distractions too 😂👌🥰🍻
yep the first time I saw snow it was really cool, driving home on a country road from work, in a blizzard, with no ruts on the road to follow, not so cool! lol

Soooo... how would you go about mounting an acro colony? Would you glue the existing base to your rock structure or cut it from it's base and then glue it? If it's cut from it's base how do you handle a big piece of coral like that?
At what size does a acro frag become a colony? I have had a acro around 7-8 months now and it looks like some of the ones you called colonies. But I wouldn’t think it is big enough yet
It might come up in the later videos. But since you are making the point that Acros in the wild grow fast. Do fast growing corals grow EVEN faster in the wild? Like if you put kenya tree or that fast growing chalice you made a video on.
So when you unbox them and put them in the tank do you run an acclimation mode for the coral (acros specifically) or do they do well without it? If you do an acclimation mode with the xr30s how long do you run it?
March I hear the Australian stripeys are great for aptaisia! Can u get them there? They might be a good option to get some of for ur new fish stock h started working on, very hardy and from my u derstand ing they LOVE to eat aptasia, like not like peppermint shrimp or filefish where they might eat them all, from what I’ve seen online these aussie stripey fish will eat them all from tanks… maybe I just haven’t seen any bad things about them tho 🤷♂️🥰
@@fragboxcorals scientific name is “Microcanthus strigatus” I just had a lil bit of a look and says they can be found around Hawaii but also (don’t know if that would make them easier to get to u guys in Canada or not) seems they are really only popular in aquariums in australia atm tho, might not be totally reef safe coz they can eat crustaceans, but could be worth looking into, I know Parker’s reef(Sam) and Simple aquariums(Lauren) both have been happy using them in their large reef tanks 🤷♂️🥰
Hey March, that Acropora at 12:58 I have a couple and I believe they are Acropora Hyacinthus. They look really close to Millepora, but the coralites are smaller and so is the polyp extension. What are your thoughts?
@@cadencontreras9496 I'm in the U.S. so he doesn't ship to me even though I'm right over the border. It is probably for the best cuz I would be broke lol.

about 4'' tall Id say
The Milka stylo is named after the Euro chocolate brand's purple wrappers - Jake Adams in a video years ago
Thanks for this comment I always wondered why !
Great content as always 👍🏾

The coral name Milka is likely the association to the German chocolate brand Milka.
March, do you dip your torches at all?
Great video and gorgeous corals! What light template are you using on the G6's?
Home made custom setting nothing fancy !
Why cant you ship to the U.S?
Do you frag all the colonies to grow them in the farm? Or depend on imports for acro?
Pretty sure he only selects a few of his favourite corals of any shipment to keep in the farm or in the display tanks 👊😊

hard to tell at this time
What par do you keep your Acropora at?
Do you guys ship to United States???
Milka means like royal purple.
Just curious how much do those colony go for?
about $150 Canadian
Abyzz pumps??
Milka, because of the color i think. Milka Chocolate!
🤣
and ur right
Hey sirr.when you come back to Indonesia, please visit our coral farm in the Jakarta area 😅
absolutely
Damn, is your drain on the acro frag tank always so loud? That would drive me nuts
ahhaha i'm so used to it I dont even notice
5:50 i would say loripes :)
your yellow tang had a fight
sounds like flinstones bongos in the background...
It is dumb how good these corals look compared to what we get where I am. I'm trying to fill out a 225 gallon and this makes me so jealous.
He ships all of his corals.

I want to buy “S4” but I’m in the U.S
“I’d bet my firstborn that was a milli”
Loripes have no radial corallites on one side - so that should be A. granulosa
Red sea gyres. Supposedly easier to clean
It's echinata,, not enchinata - Veron's corals of the world
A. Prostrata is very similar to A. Millepora, be careful when betting your life! Lol
Bon bon is rich..
Umm, that’s not an Acropora Efflorescence. 😅
I'm seriously sad that you are tearing down your signature tank
Man it does ship its called ice hahhahahah
