Great Video! 😀 Do you use the control Unit? The speaker is designed to include active bass equalisation (RC-Unit). It makes a big difference up to the midrange, even if the low bass is not without its problems for the room acoustics.
Hello, thanks for your interest in my videos. I can assure you that the Rcl module is absolutely unnecessary if your system is good. Even in this video used xlr to rca cable from my new dac smsl su-9pro to the amplifier and the signal is much better and dynamic than if I connect rc-1 module. I have had several pairs of ergo rc-l and have done a lot of experiments and I assure you of my words ;)
@@hifi_art_studio Thank you for the answer. I spoke to one of the developers of the RC-L a few years ago, as I live in Germany, and he said that it also plays a little more directly in the mids with the control unit. The bass is also clearly different due to the DC filter that is integrated in the unit and of course lower 25hz -3dB.
@@hifi_art_studio Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking of replacing my Ergo RC-L and possibly taking the latest Ergo model, i.e. from 690/695, or switching directly to the Vento.
Hello, you had a lot different speakers and i want to ask you: is there any sense to search for me a better speakers than ergo rcl? Now i have ergo rcl and im happy with them. But you know, curiosity takes over. And other question: can you tell me if denon pma 1500ae is powerful enough for ergo rcl?
Hi, Merry Christmas :) Canton RCLs are great speakers, but require a nice amp or power amp. They are competitive with much more expensive and modern speakers! The Denon PMA 1500 is a nice machine, but you'll probably need to use the RC 1 to hear the full potential of the RCL.
Hello, I am not a professional and this is just my hobby and I like to experiment with different dacs. Unfortunately it costs money :) Topping e50 is 50% better than E30 :) Gustard x16 is 30% better than Topping e50 and SMSL su-9 pro is about 10-15% better than X16 . I can share this as an experience from my experiments ;)
You should not be able to hear the difference between the e30 or e50 dac. Measurements have been done, both operate above the capability of your ears. Google for audiosciencereview, they have a thorough review on both models
Отличный звук. 👍👍👍

He recommended that if I were to operate the RC-L without a unit, I should rather switch to the 102 or 1002. In his opinion, the RCA is the best Ergo.
Expect an interesting video with Ergo 1002 next week ;)

You don't use the rc box?

one more question: can you compare topping e30 vs e50 vs smsl su-9 pro? Thank you! p.s. we are waiting new videos from you :)

This Canton speaker is not recommended for use with a Marantz amplifier, since this amplifier can only work with 8-16 ohm speakers!
:)
@@hifi_art_studioso what's your opinion? Do you have any problems with speakers with less than 8ohms?
