Hello friends, welcome to my new video.
Today, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a one-day trip to the beautiful state of Uttarakhand. He visited Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Dham, where he performed a special puja and archana.
He inaugurated development projects worth around 4,200 crores in Pithoragarh. Before we proceed in the video, if you haven't subscribed to the channel yet, please do so.
In the morning, around 8:30 AM, Prime Minister Modi reached Jolingkong in the Pithoragarh district. There, he performed puja and archana at Parvati Kund and received blessings from the sacred Adi-Kailash, known for its spiritual significance and natural beauty.
After that, at around 9 AM, he visited the Gunji village in the Pithoragarh district, where he interacted with local residents and explored an exhibition showcasing local art and products. He also had discussions with the Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Border Roads Organization (BRO) personnel.
Prime Minister Modi then arrived in Jageshwar in the Almora district, where he performed puja and archana and had darshan at Jageshwar Dham. Jageshwar Dham is located at an altitude of about 6,200 feet and houses approximately 224 stone temples, making it a unique heritage of Uttarakhand.
Upon his arrival in Almora, the people welcomed Prime Minister Modi enthusiastically. He disembarked from his vehicle in Pithoragarh's Panuvanoula and was greeted by Chief Minister Dhami. Prime Minister Modi entered the Jageshwar temple and offered his respects. Eleven pandits performed the Swastivachan for him. He also performed puja-archana at the Hanuman temple in the Dham and conducted prayers, vows, and meditation at the Maha Mrityunjay temple in the Dham.
The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Dhami, expressed his happiness that the Prime Minister had visited the state. He stated that the Prime Minister's visit would not only lead to development in Uttarakhand but also boost tourism.
Following this, Prime Minister Modi reached Pithoragarh, and preparations for a grand welcome in the Pithoragarh district, his home district, have been made. Sixteen stages have been set up from the airport to the assembly ground. These stages will feature local cultural presentations based on folk life, including the Hila Jatara, Jhora Chanchri, Rang Samaj, and performances by school children and local artists.
Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various development projects, worth about 4,200 crores. These projects encompass rural development, roads, electricity, irrigation, drinking water, horticulture, education, healthcare, and disaster management, spread across different sectors.
The projects to be inaugurated include 76 rural roads and 25 bridges constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), as well as the upgradation of three roads funded by the Central Road Fund in nine districts. The foundation for other projects, such as the construction of 21,398 polyhouses, will also be laid. These initiatives will help increase production and quality in the cultivation of flowers and vegetables.
The walls along the roadsides are currently displaying glimpses of local culture as people witness the Prime Minister's tour. Especially at the Sports Stadium located in Takana, near the airport, the administration has highlighted the state's local culture on the walls through artists. The artists have showcased the state's prominent religious places, wildlife, and other elements related to local culture, from Nritya Hiljatra to Rangili-Pichhoda, along with women wearing traditional attire.
In addition to these developments, Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation for five projects related to the improvement of high-density apple orchards and the National Highway (NH) road network, including projects like a 50-bed hospital block in Champawat, an Astroturf hockey field in Haldwani Stadium, and a velodrome stadium in Rudrapur.
