I tried out the new trait system (made Swamp Cobramen and Swamp Gatormen out of it) and the new navel system and OMG does it work MUCH BETTER. About to try out the Reaver Culture now and so far I am loving the new DLC and Update
@@JumboPixel after playing with the new navy system more unit types will dictate what type of ship you will get when the units embark. Units also still have access to their usual attacks

The DLCs and updates have made the game a lot better. If they continue like this it could become one of my favourite games of all time. Any chance you upload some more AoW4 videos again?
The item crafting is definitely cut-content given how anemic the item range was in the base game. 'New' trait system is a total walk back to the older games now the dev realize how bad the original 4's was. Underground map generation is still a placeholder and the water tiles even less useful despite the bare minimum of points-of-interest added. Does new tome even matter with amount of mods available? For the price of a whole premium indie game, you guys are basically paying for a glorified bird and cannon cosmetic pack.

So happy with dlc and update. Being able to select AI ruler personalities is brilliant
I overlooked that, only briefly showing it on screen. But I agree, it's a neat touch.

I need to dig into the navy updates a bit more. I’m a big navy gameplay fan, and I feel likes it’s often neglected in 4X games.

It’s awesome. I’m guessing the next DLC with mirror the first one in size/ scale because of its price point, but we’ll have to wait and see.
This game is outstanding. I honestly always have a blast with it.
