Fake pops are why I stopped collecting. There are hundreds of thousands of fakes in peoples collection that are identical to the real things. Sure their are some fakes that are easy to spot but trust me when I say there are manufacturers out there making fakes that use the exact materials Funko use. Unless you get all your pops from retail stores or Funko themselves, I can guarantee you have some fakes in your collection.
I once ordered a metallic Whis from a seller on Amazon. When I got the package it was the common Whis-which happened to smell really bad-and it had a very badly faked Con sticker on it! I’m thinking, gosh-I not only got a fake but they weren’t even TRYING! Fortunately the good thing with Amazon is they guarantee your purchase so I got my money back. I do wonder, to this day, what was up with the bad smell, though. Maybe it was even a fake common.
I’m new to Funko pops and recently bought 16 of my favorite characters. Literally spent hours comparing each and everyone one of them to stock photos and more😅.
I started Collecting in 2021, and I have found that the bar code scans almost always, but one key factor I have found among my fakes is the sad face, or the age restriction face is different from legit Funkos. I learned that if ebayers dont show the bottom of the box in their photos is a fake.
That’s the crazy thing with the world nowadays I collect neca figures and I ordered the neca chucky off of Walmarts website and it looked just like it the only reason I knew it was a fake was because the stitches were gold lol🤣😂
I ordered a Ghostface funko pop of TEMU it was my first one for cheap I thought I got a good deal but found out it was fake sucks but the real one is kinda expensive but is kinda good that I got it so I can now compare it to a real funko pop and not order fakes again
Interesting video. I am not sure why anyone would expect the genuine article if you are paying such low prices. I am okay with out of box displays as i am not buying to resell. There are some rares that i would never pay market value to have.
Kinda proves how little it costs to make pops. Yes they're slightly higher quality than the best fakes & they pay for licensing but best believe they make an absolute killing especially on $ grab stuff like sodas, rewinds & nft's where ppl r buying multiples & ending up with a multitude of each figure or card. Sure the "value" of nft's can b higher but essentially ppl r paying around $100 for under a dollar worth of material & probably labor too being that they're all made in china. It's robbery & Funko is laughing all the way to the bank. I guarantee they r some of the biggest scalpers online too with stock they hold back & flip for high dollars. They control the market. Great vid
do u think if there’s anything wrong with fakes i have 12 pops there all real there 10-25$ But i want some where the real are 200$ i dont wanna sell them just collect
@ ok thanks because i want this L with a Cake pop and it’s almost 300 For the real one and i thought it was Crazy But it’s Crazy if people try to sell them and make people think there real But like the pops that are 10-50 idc that’s more reasonable i’ll get the real ones but thanks for the feedback
It is so crazy how well company’s are making fakes now. Great video
It's those who sells those fake pops as a real one that's the problem 😬😬 great video 👍😎

“I guess sometimes when you order fake Funko Pops, you don’t even get the real one” hahahaha
Hahaha true that!!!
I appreciate you educating us on fake Funkos. The fake ones are very similar. Thank you for all you do 😊

On the pop logo are there little dots on it. I know the real ones have the Littles dots on the pop logo. I am wondering if the fakes ha e it as well.
Bro you are out of control on your Funko’s but good to see you’re doing well
Hey could be worse things habaha
I might have to go on there and see if they got the 2012 droids boba fett great video 🤘
You should!
Patch might be a variant played by Daniel Radcliff and possibly a channing Tatum gambit across from him
This along with all the Fake Signatures is killing Funko Pops!
who cares
Great video good educational video
Glad you enjoyed it

I think if you want them in your collection and know they are fake thats cool, when folks try to rip folks off thats where i have issues.
