Currently 24 years old and unemployed. My goal by 2050 it to contribute something to boost India's growth. We can't totally depend on Government for everything if mindset doesn't change at individual level. In democracy, govt. can only give a push mostly things must be done as a whole by people. Only an authoritarian government has that kind of control to exploit and grow at significant rate but in democracy if everyone doesn't come together with a positive and pure mindset, it might become too difficult. So we need to stop blaming and asking government to do everything if we can't change our lazy and corrupt asses.
The difference between 2014 before govt and 2014 after govt was only that , the earlier always said it cant be done vs the current says it has to be done. Thats the difference of mindsets , the reason india is touching global rankings , and if we believe we can achieve the unfathomable as well.

India was at 0.644 in 2022, right now it might be at 0.66 or something. UN has not released the current data yet. It will be easily possible to make India developed by this standard even before 2047 if done properly, but it will be very difficult to become a high income country with per capita nominal 30,000 USD by 2047. But India can definitely become a upper middle income country. India's population itself can make it a superpower if that is the goal, even before 2047. If India can maintain a good PPP per capita even at an upper middle income level, then it can easily be considered a high income nation. To get to a proper high income nation will take up to 2070, and yes, fertility rate needs to be monitored closely, automation needs to be embraced and immigration needs to be courted from African countries.
Numbers are one thing but how easy is it to open up your own business in india? What about other countries can they come in and open businesses easily or is it difficult? What about getting better on the corruption index to attract more FDI? How does the public education system stack up? Does the average 16-18 year old develop the skillset to become successful in life as a product of the current system? What opportunities has the GOI created for the lowest class of people in India All of these questions matter a lot more than just a ever increasing number.
India will become a Developed country when each and every one of us like to contribute towards country's progress. Policies alone can not lead to any development unless people in general like to follow the policy in its true spirit.

I don't think we'll be a developed nation by 2047. You don't become developed just by GDP, what about GDP per capita, HDI, women safety, Clean country, Education reform, Shift from agriculture based economy, Quality skilled graduates, lesser wealth inequality, caste based discrimination, more inter caste marriages, less of religion more science, corruption, long term government stability, good universal healthcare, good infrastructure in not just tier 1 cities, population control, etc, etc.
It is harsh but this is fact female workforce only wanted to work in white collar jobs and white collar jobs are limited so that is impossible to provide white collar jobs to each female, so we have to make jobs more attracts in blue collar jobs and other type of jobs, In today's market there are good number of female employees but not in other sectors.
But India is still losing its chance as always. Just look at the scams in government exams for example. It just pushes the young generation to lose their aspiration to help the country to be developed. I still have hope for a fast change ASAP.

Indian education system ko agar hum badal sakte he aur people ko new education system k bare me aware kar sake aur youth ko employment dia jaye to definitely india develop country ban paega wo bhi sabse aage raha paega.
We need quality population not large population. With AI developing rapidly, more people would mean more unemployment. Also check the kindergartens and hospitals to understand which religion kids are being born more since last 5-10 years and then think what kind of population would be majority as our human working capital after 15-20 years.

I don't think we'll be a developed nation by 2047. You don't become developed just by GDP, what about GDP per capita, HDI, women safety, Clean country, Education reform, Shift from agriculture based economy, Quality skilled graduates, lesser wealth inequality, caste based discrimination, more inter caste marriages, less of religion more science, corruption, long term government stability, good universal healthcare, good infrastructure in not just tier 1 cities, population control, etc, etc.
It is harsh but this is fact female workforce only wanted to work in white collar jobs and white collar jobs are limited so that is impossible to provide white collar jobs to each female, so we have to make jobs more attracts in blue collar jobs and other type of jobs, In today's market there are good number of female employees but not in other sectors.

Mera hisab se india 2047 me developed country nahi ban paega. Kyun ki indian youth aaj bhi unemployed he. Iska reasons he education of india. Indian education system ko agar hum badal sakte he aur people ko new education system k bare me aware kar sake aur youth ko employment dia jaye to definitely india develop country ban paega wo bhi sabse aage raha paega.
We need quality population not large population. With AI developing rapidly, more people would mean more unemployment. Also check the kindergartens and hospitals to understand which religion kids are being born more since last 5-10 years and then think what kind of population would be majority as our human working capital after 15-20 years.
