Claudio has the best coordination I've ever seen. That rhythm guitar part is insanely difficult, and he sings completely different shit over it? Jeez. That's musicianship for ya.
I had the same sentiment on another coheed video. I feel like he’s one of the most underrated guitarists of all time I won’t lie. Not to mention an otherworldly vocalist.
I will never regret giving these guys all the tattoo real estate they occupy on my body. They reinforce that decision every time i see them. Their songs have saved my life on multiple occasions and their talent continues to inspire me everyday.
I love that people get tatts of their lyrics. Gonna get "the undisputed champ of misery" of my arm soon. Depression and anxiety are terrible but c&c do help a lot
Just like Luc Angelo said, that smile when he messes up, but except i feel like its like with his eyes "yeah i messed up, and you love it." and he's right. I love it
I can't blame Claudio for being a little tired. They put on amazing shows and tour so much and do so much for their fans, I think we can give him (and the rest of the band for that matter) a little bit of a break when he (or they) get a little tired. They may be "musical gods" but they're still human. ;)
Now it makes sense. I just saw an interview with Josh and Travis from right before this show and Travis said that Claudio and Josh stayed up the entire night drinking and didn't sleep at all. That would explain while Claudio was having some vocal problems and also appeared to be very tired.
this is crap sound quality. wtf are you talking about? the sound guy should be fired after this gig. this is was crap. can't hear the bass, can't hear lower notes. can barely hear any drums but the snare. all the backup vocals are silent. all the instruments are low. all you hear is Claudio's voice... and it keeps changing. this is AWFUL sound quality. like, not even good.
0:33 proof that Claudio Sanchez is in fact a human being. I cannot believe the riffs this man can play WHILE singing. Dude is an absolute freak of nature.
I absolutely HATED coheed when I first heard them now theyre one of my favs. Incredibly talented, great songwriting. I got my keywork tattoo back in 18 and amproud to wear one alongside all my coheed brothers and sisters!
very good point. this is "bad" in claudio's world. I bet he looks back on this with regret. if you wanna hear Claudio killing it, again, .... check out the new Vaxis II album. absolutely insane.
Yea I love all the imperfections in Coheed shows. They leave no room to believe they aren't actually playing. Especially the laughs this song they were pretty off.
I don't think he's not into it, look even at the smile at the beginning. Australia's quite a while away, I reckon he was probably just exhausted. In fact, he looks exhausted.
I hate when the sound guy pretty much mutes the backup vocals. Too many people do this. They should be the same level as the lead. If they're a good backup, they'll adjust their singing volume so as to not drown out the lead singer.
Yeah except in a live setting it's not that easy to just automatically adjust your own volume physically. They shouldn't be the same level unless it's a small venue where sounds easily mesh and you can't afford to turn down the mics. Otherwise they should always be a BIT lower, but not practically off.
I dunno about that, if you ever see the amity affliction live and watch ahren singing he's constantly changing how far he is from the mic adjusting how loud his voice is
The little smile when he messed up the intro absolutely cracked me up, I know that feel!
Luc Angelo Finney hell yeah haha that face was awesome
I was gonna say the same.. lol I know that all too well. It's best to shrug it off than to make it a big deal when that happens.
Can't tell you how many times I've done that. Crowd only notices when you make a big deal about it
He does it again at 5:12. I’m honestly surprised he doesn’t screw up more often. I can barely play his parts without signing!
Claudio has the best coordination I've ever seen. That rhythm guitar part is insanely difficult, and he sings completely different shit over it? Jeez. That's musicianship for ya.
He is a beast lol
Absolute pure talent
I had the same sentiment on another coheed video. I feel like he’s one of the most underrated guitarists of all time I won’t lie. Not to mention an otherworldly vocalist.
Dark Sentencer and NWFT always impress the shit out of me when he plays those live
I will never regret giving these guys all the tattoo real estate they occupy on my body. They reinforce that decision every time i see them. Their songs have saved my life on multiple occasions and their talent continues to inspire me everyday.

One among the fence 5ever!!!
Wish you could post that artwork here my guy. Would love to see it.
@@jokersman666I got "matters close to the heart will define who we are" and a dragonfly on my arm
I never realized how vocal heavy this song was. I mean, he's going every riff in this song.
go back and listen to Good Apollo.
it's astonishing.
"The question begs the question, right?" Fuckin hell what an incredible song
The question fits the question mark
can anyone acknowledge his super-human rhythm guitar and singing ability more so than him messing up the intro lol
+Busted Knuckles umm.....no no i cannot!
+jason bidelman just the first 2 mins of the song is so tricky to play let along sing on top
+Busted Knuckles he isn't human. he has nephilim DNA. that's the only explanation
Him and Alexi laiho have to be the best guitar playing frontmen I've ever seen
I love when he messes up. It gets old, the perfect god tier performances they do. I like to see some human error here and there
Even though they must've been exhausted, I'd say they still brought it.
They need to play this live more. Seriously underrated song imo
Claudio is so insanely talented.
Just like Luc Angelo said, that smile when he messes up, but except i feel like its like with his eyes "yeah i messed up, and you love it." and he's right. I love it
The bass in this song is so fire
One of their best songs ever!
The amount of love this band gives to their fans is reason enough to like them.
Got chills when he started up that grisly "na na na". So epic
Fucking hell, how do you play tasty licks like this and sing AT THE SAME DAMN TIME!!!
That's Claudio for you
When he messes the beginning up it's so adorable!
This song is so dark, dense, heavy and yet melodic, beautiful and sad
WE FALL TOGETHER
playin coheed all day. 2019
I can't blame Claudio for being a little tired. They put on amazing shows and tour so much and do so much for their fans, I think we can give him (and the rest of the band for that matter) a little bit of a break when he (or they) get a little tired.

When listening to this on Spotify I always picture Gremlins singing the la la la la
thank you for the idea
He goes so high in the chorus.
Now it makes sense. I just saw an interview with Josh and Travis from right before this show and Travis said that Claudio and Josh stayed up the entire night drinking and didn't sleep at all. That would explain while Claudio was having some vocal problems and also appeared to be very tired.
that bass line
Excellent sound quality !
It's weird. I feel like it sounds like what would be coming out of their monitors.
this is crap sound quality. wtf are you talking about?

4:33 Claudio's hair with a very surprising cameo appearance.
0:33 proof that Claudio Sanchez is in fact a human being. I cannot believe the riffs this man can play WHILE singing. Dude is an absolute freak of nature.
My favoriet song 😎👍
YES this video has nothing but thumbs up
I like how Travis basically doesn't play a single chord through the entire song.
Okay, maybe a couple.
Badass song!
I absolutely HATED coheed when I first heard them now theyre one of my favs. Incredibly talented, great songwriting. I got my keywork tattoo back in 18 and amproud to wear one alongside all my coheed brothers and sisters!
ALL youuuu WANNA BE!!!!! 2021!!!!
i'd imagine after all the shows they've played they would be exhausted
That stick toss around 2:35-ish = awesome.
and that save = flawless
This is an off performance for Claudio, take a minute to appreciate that.
Seriously dude... I'm pretty sure they were all just jet lagged. But the fact that this isnt his best performance is insane
very good point.
this is "bad" in claudio's world. I bet he looks back on this with regret.
if you wanna hear Claudio killing it, again, .... check out the new Vaxis II album. absolutely insane.
I agree. I was there
Josh over pennie all day every day!💯
2:31 so fast (josh)
Putting this directly after IKSE:3 is brutal for Claudio, even if there was a break between
Bruh. The scream at the end...
2016 has been shitty for the loss of great musicians, as an atheist I pray to every god known to humanity to never take travis and claudio from us.
Amem
I mean everyone dies eventually
Sure but Death can wait a while before taking them
until coheed get incredibly popular i will die in peace
considering how its part if their encore, i would think so lol
stick throw away 2:32
I'd like that link if you have it, please.
Well I bet he was, this song is usually played for their encore
Good to know even Claudio can fuck up sometimes :)
Yea I love all the imperfections in Coheed shows. They leave no room to believe they aren't actually playing. Especially the laughs this song they were pretty off.
are those ron swanson guitar picks...........?
+Justin Stephens no those are custom pics of his father, i dont know what brand though
Claudio's father actually.
That laugh.
Yep, especially during a night where his technique is not very good, which it wasn't on this night.
its still good tho

No offense, but how do people listen to Ghost when we have this.
because both bands have their differences? ghost and coheed are not that comparable IMO (as big fans of both for a long while!!!)
The la la's remind me of suspiria.
Well that could depend on the big time difference
nitpick, nitpick, nitpick
good god where is the energy?
Shouldn't be at the end of the set. It is a monster to sing.
Claudio was tired
Maybe just jet-lagged
He doesn't seem that into it for this entire show...
