Hello, I hate to be critical, as I always try to respect each person's lifestyle and uploads. You have a wonderful baby, and should be proud. However, it is best to skip the q-tips and instead use warm water to rinse the ears. A baby is squirmy and many parents have punctured their kiddos eardrums because they were cleaning with a q-tip and the young child moved suddenly, causing the parent to lose control of the q-tip. Please don't take this for anything other than it is---some curbside advice that is meant in nothing but the kindest way. Again, your child is just adorable and may you have many blessed years ahead!
Babys don't need a cleaning of the ears. Especially not with a cotton swamp because their ear canals are too small to get the majority out of their ear. It's more like stuffing the ear like a canon and you don't want to do this!
Work Stuff I’ve been using q-tips for the past several years every single day and have yet to experience any type of damage or anything. I stick the swab deep into my ear too, she just lightly uses the tip to clean the outer part of the ear. Let her do as she pleases.

My mom spoiled me as a baby when she cleaned/massaged my ear. Even as an adult I'll still ask for an ear massage lol
..... Maybe stop if you want to get married one day.
