Enjoyed the video guys, great work. Keep them coming. We did the Flinders Ranges and Simpson Desert last year in July, also Oodnadatta & Birdsville (part) Tracks, and the west Darling of NSW. Our trip included camps at Arkaroola and Chambers Gorge, and we also visited the Coongie Lakes as a day trip while camping at Innaminka. Had the HN7 for our trip, but have since upgraded to the HX1. Fantastic equipment, wouldn't go off road without it. Looking forward to your next video.
Keep doing what you're doing! Video length is perfect: 15 - 20 minutes max is enough. Keep it unscripted and real, there's already enough 4x4 dribble out there & you don't need to compete with them. Showing us the field work you do and how you go about it is your point of difference, and so far it's great. Cheers
Great video. Keep them coming. Love to see more on the technical aspect of mapping tracks in these videos. Information on the process, and technology that goes into track recording.
As some one from South Australia interesting on how you pronounced the place names totally different to how we do here in SA. But great to see the short video.
Hi mate it could well be, but we have a road running through and out from Adelaide CBD with the same spelling Frome said as froam Rd. Just goes to show how we in Australia can say thing differently in different states. And when it comes to Algebuckina bridge we even fight over the saying of that in our own state. Cheers for the reply and keep up the great work you guy's are doing, loving your work :)
would be interesting to see a run down on all your mapping software, and techniques to ensure a well covered and accurate map, what gps system are you running? maybe a short 5 minute video of all of this summarised, with some pros and cons of the equipment also. thanks Jackson, p.s if you need an assistant keep me on speed dial ;)
There are plenty of 4x4 shows on tv to watch and it would be great to see one more on - the Hema 4x4 and mapping show! Loved seeing this and as an owner of a HX1, I would love to see more as it helps with the trip planning. Well done.
Only watched the first 2 minutes. I suggest a script, the umm’s are a bit over powering. Looking forward to your videos though I think you have a great opportunity to have a big following with the Hema brand behind you. Cheers
Douglas Hart, you missed out on, umm, 13 minutes of wonderful umm video footage of a family time in the amazing ummm South Australian outback, umm, not contrived, very naturally presented, and umm, very enjoyable.
I know you guys work hard, but that’s the best job in the world right there.
Great to see the 'behind the scenes' work - including the families - that goes into mapping!
It's really nice to see some mountains. Most of the time I see only flat.

Yep... keep em coming. Presenter will get better with experience. Also happy to capture data for you....
Its nice that you take take the whole family along, I have all the Hema gear and love traveling SA dirt.
Great work, keep the videos coming. The day-to-day tips and chores are also good to see and hear about.

Hema Maps not really sure what that is but it sounds interesting.

Title says part 1. Where's the rest please???
Mate how much fuel do you carry on board? It sucks how a v8 200 landcruiser only has a 93l tank and a 120 prado has 180l ??
Dream Job mate, where do I apply ? lol
Great video but you need to use something to cut out the wind noise as you speak.
Noted!
Would be great if Hema would document a lot of the tracks not on their maps here in West Aus.
I noticed the maps were very detailed. Which device was displayed. HX-1??? Other???
Thanks....
Is this new map out as get heading this way in August
Hi Mark,
Thanks for reaching out. We have a number of maps available.
Where you after a hard copy of a map, or a digital map?
Safe Journey...
And, part2?
You talk about your laundry more than you elaborate on native cultures? @ 07:26. New to the channel, hope I'm wrong.
Aren't you afraid of running into outlaw motorcycle gangs led by Lord Humungus?

Hema Maps well said guys. Doug, watch something else of you're not happy. This was good.

Please pronounce the place names correctly, if unsure ask the locals
The video is small, 15 minutes is very little! Just saying...
No doubt that I want to motivate you!
One day I will go to Australia, of course, with Hema Maps on the vehicle!
