He switches the notepad, he has two notepads, one says patriots on everypage, one says falcons on every page, then when flipped over the backside of every page has the full list of teams, when he shows them the teams he shows one side when she gives it to them to "listen he flips the notebook so now matter what they are going to get the pats on one booklet and the falcons on the other. The cards- He lets them shuffle, then he literally looks at all the cards when he is "checking for jokers" while checking he finds his score cards, then simply throws them on the top of the deck during his little shuffle he does, when he returns the decks for the cut the scores are now on top. When they cut, he has them put the cut down on the table and the bottom of the cut goes on top, when he has them mark the cut they are literally doing nothing more than marking the top of the deck. Its actually not a super tough trick. His other tricks were awesome though, I dont know why he finished with an obvious one.

Ok notice at 15:32 he is “checking for jokers” he rearranges two cards in the middle of big cats deck, he does the same at 16:00 with PFTs deck.
Notice After pft picks his team he Oz switches notebooks and uses a completely different notebook for bigcat

Also notice he has them use their ears to go through the deck so they wouldn’t be able to see a rigged manipulated notebook.

There was slight of hand. At 16:03 you can see the 4 in the back of deck as he is shuffling through that doesn’t move. Then he takes the 3 and puts it with the 4. Then he fake shuffles the deck and just re cuts it so that the 34 is at the top. Them cutting after makes no difference because he set it up that the top of the deck is still available to him as the cards were there the whole time. As for the teams, the notepad when he rides his thumb from top to bottom reveals all the teams. When riding the thumb from the bottom up all the pages have patriots, it’s a prop notepad. He then takes the notebook and puts it in his pocket to switch it out for the other in which it’s the same except the pages say falcons. Pretty simple trick but he is a very good magician. Notice how he tells both of them clearly to use the bottom up with the thumb and by the ear so that the camera won’t pick up the prop notebook.
Yeah he's very slick. Also when he switches the notebooks to give Big Cat the other one, you can see the other notebook in his jacket
I theres only 2 notebooks total. The real one with all teams, and for the prop notebook, I think it says both Patriots and Falcons, but depending on which way he hands it to you and has you flip pages it'll show the other team

@@squidwarddeep5064 Nah think it just has to do with the way you riffle the notepad. That’s why when he riffled he did it from top to bottom and then specifically told them to do it the other way.

The superbowl trick uses a time delay force to force the 2 cards for each. Then the football teams uses a svengali principle in the notepad

Yea, he looked through, grabbed the cards and slid them on the top of the deck, (or bottom how we saw bc they were face up)
2. He did two fake shuffles leaving the chosen cards on top.
3. He had them cut the deck and "mark where they cut" but it was the top half that was "marked" so really it was just the top 2 cards on the deck and the illusion of a cut

Some drunkard theories on how some of these tricks are done
1- Starburst, the bowl of starburst that were brought in were brought in by Oz who has a very special bowl with weight sensors that he can have the total number of weight transcribed back to him by morse code by some kind of buzzing mechanism within his clothing
2- With PFTs friend, he has a small but savvy team that could use coding to automatically download and search every PMT episode transcript to find out any mention of PFTs First grade friend

Also the last trick he swapped notebooks at 18:01 and the two cards the represented the score in the Super Bowl were just the top two cards after the shuffle, he then made them cut the deck and put the top half on the bottom, once he grabbed the cards for the reveal he moved the top half that he deliberately told them to place at a weird angle, and picked up the top two cards, and he was the last to touch them before they were cut. Idk how he got them to land on the right team but I think it has to do with the sound it made once they got to that team, that’s why he needed two notebooks or else they would have picked the same team

@@1623hill the only thing that I picked up on was that he put the 2 cards he wanted on top of each deck when he was riffling through them. then when they cut the deck he actually just picks up the two from the top. But still no idea how the hell he got them to pick the patriots and falcons.
@@1623hill google "breather crimp." That's how you get someone to cut to the exact card you want. Thus having to check for "jokers or ad cards." Make sure the card he needs is above/below each crimp in those decks. Like OP the mentalism stuff is lost on me but I get the card stuff.
@@1623hilland with the books. When he shows them there are all 32 teams he's showing them one side of the page, and the other side has only the names of the patriots. He then switches to another identical looking book with the falcons. You can see after pft is done, he briefly puts the notebook back into his jacket and takes it back out again. Hes switching the notebooks

The last one is the only one that makes logical sense. It’s just a magic trick that’s been done by plenty of other magicians. It was good but he manipulated all of it.
