Pile 2, me holding back didn’t sound like me at all, but then I realized that the only place I’m really open and social is at work. I get so nervous and shut down whenever I’m with new people especially if I fancy them, so it makes sense
In a way, I am like you.
And I did wonder myself “Why at work I feel free to be myself, and I behave like a true Queen but, outside the job place, I’m more like a scared rabit?”.
And the answer hurted me.
“I am a Queen at work, because I hide myself behind the Uniform/business suit and the job title, I use them like an armour. I don’t really expose myself. At job I am a character, who is doing a great job, I show only 50-70% of Sorina.
But, outside the working place, even if I don’t show myself 100% to the world, the one who has to walk on the streets and deal with people, it is Sorina 100%, and she is not shielded by her Uniform or the Job Title, in the streets she is exposed.”
And now, I am working on me, to be as brave on the streets as I am at the working place.
