Cleaning and maintence will be very difficult ...but even the glasses uses inside will bring in more heat to stay inside..amd this is chennai we all know how hot it is .. Also transparent glass flooring can be unconvinet is somebody walk over it in saree or lungi .. Like privacy can be a issue as anyone can see from ground floor ... ..a home is dream for many ..congts for being owning one..☺

The architect seems to have strained every nerve to come up with an impressive design. There are advantages and also some disadvantages. Every space has its utility value. Extremely good finish. Good ventilation. Fine ambience. I am not sure about the cost of this project ..could be a killer. That glass ceiling is frightful. For one ground space the vertical stacking of 4 floors with grandiose concept is the typical outcome of giving free reign to fanciful architects. Reviving joint family culture with the implicit trust in future generations sounds great until the results are out when those two boys get married .
Wow, very nice, one of the thing I liked here is the elevator, which gives freedom to the grand parents to freely move on each floor. Wonder how much it cost to build this. Very nice design from air flow to natural lighting, to easy access to each floors.

Nice home to see... But when u stay ... I suppose it's costly to maintain... ( Spending on cleaning products).The glass needs to be maintained almost daily... More over just to water the plants it would take couple of hrs daily.... If it were on ground or on a single floor that would be more easy... Of course interests differs from each. When u wash the clothes ... Taking them to the top floor is a headache...I have my personal experience.... But certain concept are to be appreciated... Like the water fountain n translucent marbles n work space where u r able to sit on floor n high ceilings n brick walls are too good. My personal feeling is clustering of creativity upon on a single house... No offense ment.

There are number of folks perhaps in thousands who have purchased housing plots in the suburbs of Chennai. Most of them have bought half ground plots (1200 sq.ft) They all would definitely wish to construct a small house within 800 sq.ft in a mnimal budget. It will be a good idea if you guys can consider designing such self contained small houses which will be very useful to them. You may approach those layout promoters and make a deal with them. You also have to be careful as most of them are sharks. You may have to plan a common water storage system, sewage draining and off grid solar power generation etc. Please serve the lower middle class and the have-nots too.
