This is especially funny for those who saw Zero's interview with westballz a little less than a year ago. In the interview, wes calls out ken saying that he trolls ken on purpose because of how washed up he is. Low and behold Ken still gots it
ill never forget this. I was right behind him at 1:17 and it drowned out but i said," damn he really went for it"after the ken combo and then his sister nodded lol.
dude of course this couldnt be streamed. this would be kens biggest video of the modern smash era. instead its him getting beaten by an unpracticed pc chris rematch -_- not that im a salty ken fan boy or anything
Westballz wasn't playing great, but just remember that Ken got 13th at this tourney, and as of rn (June 2023) this was the 2nd biggest Melee tournament of all time. Pretty impressive to say the least for a man out of his era. And I don't even like Ken tbh lmao, just stating facts.
I saw westballz have so many opportunities to grab but he just jabbed on shield, wtf was he thinking ? At one point ken counters in front of him and he does absolutely nothing to punish.
+AyJayG002 maybe it had to do with him getting dunked early in the game, you get play differently after that. smash isn't just a tech game, its mental as well.
Michael Harrell Saying you are playing bad isn't a john, it is admitting you are flawed. Consistency is part of your skill level. People who overuse the word "john" need to fuck off before they kill anymore of the rest of the good player's brain cells.
He's actually a dual Spacie main, but he goes falco like at least 90% of the time. Probably has a fox mostly for doubles, because apparently falco is terrible in teams.
Do people do that? That seems like a bad strategy. If the point of a tournament is winning, and you have only one loss to give, then losing intentionally is giving up equity. Trying to win every match is the obvious best plan.
Ken said "that aint PC CHRIS"

james camp Do you have a link?
+scyther206 "Why are you going Donkey Kong?"
"Because Texas is free."
*Gets owned by Jake 13*
talk shit, get hit
The king is back
nice steady hand by the way good quality.
Rizorx thanks man :)
+Rizorx This is how he plays if he goes all-out and takes painkillers lol. He should take pain relievers more for tournaments.
+apocalypseap What exactly is meant by this?
rangodash He has hand pain.
0:37 "Oh hey, I just did a me combo"
This is actually kinda nuts considering Westballz was a top 10 player at that point
Ken was playing like a monster dude.
thanks for all those who have watched this
ill never forget this. I was right behind him at 1:17 and it drowned out but i said," damn he really went for it"after the ken combo and then his sister nodded lol.
Holy shit a double 3 stock? Wish I'd seen this last year! This probably would've blown up if it were streamed/well noticed.
Such an interesting marth
Ty for recording dude!
Westballz got absolutely fucked upon here, I hope Ken can improve even more
he's got wrist pain. think he retired again.
this had way more "respect your elders" energy than the Leffen/Chillin set lmao
Ken combos and tippers were on fleek
dude of course this couldnt be streamed. this would be kens biggest video of the modern smash era. instead its him getting beaten by an unpracticed pc chris rematch -_- not that im a salty ken fan boy or anything
Good to see an original favorite come back and compete!
I don't think I've ever seen westballz play that bad
The man's still got it.

Ken tryna say that he's been fighting spacies since before Westballz was born.
inb4 "westballz is only x years younger than ken"
Aetriox lil late but. westballz is only x years younger than ken.
Westballz is only x years younger than ken
This is why you don't sleep on the King.

+AzumaRikimaru lmfaao, that's true I didn't take that into account. good point
+AyJayG002 no biggie~ sorry to have resurrected your post. have a good day!
Ken was playing phenomenally but Westballz was playing like shit to be fair
StealthturtIe johns
StealthturtIe Yeah, Ken even went on twitter and set that he thought Westballz was playing bad during the set.
itsbmeGaming Everyone plays like crap when they're losing that badly.

Alice Dream Nothing you have to worry about, then.
westballz wasn't at his best but amazing work by ken
ken oldschool marth hasnt change ,wesballz from months ago should be won, what happened with sr west
Nice camerawork!
Lets see how good performs Ken tomorrow!
1:32 :0
That was hard to watch..damn west
Ken played like a fuckin machine but I honestly would not have known this was Westballz based on how he played. Why did he go fox?
He's actually a dual Spacie main, but he goes falco like at least 90% of the time. Probably has a fox mostly for doubles, because apparently falco is terrible in teams.
That Mufasa Combo tho.
No offense to Ken but Westballz probably threw the game to take the easier way up in the loser bracket
+Aaron Rowe This match was in losers, Ken knocked him out of the tourney.
+Anthony H Thank you. I did not know that :o
lol that's not the easier option ever, plus this is a losers match
+Anthony H I think this was winners. Ken and Westballz ended up tying in bracket I'm pretty sure
