I'm from Brazil andcame across this interview after looking foi information about the second season. I loved this show three years ago and seeing these women speak reminded me why We Are Lady Parts is so funny, heartfelt, original and refreshing :))

What a great interviewer!!! I loved this show.
I started the show by accident. In Canada (Global Showcase) Once I started , I just kept going because the it was well shot, good dialog, inviting actors, good music (as it turned out)

Had to turn the CC on cause of the accent and what is haram ..... but that's ok.

I was wondering about who made the music and playing and we got some info on that. Good song choices. Better original song then the Indian song just won the Golden Globe. (Lisa RIP)
Interesting talk. I will add to it. By the end, I was guessing that Momtaz was white and what she wore was just a perfect cover. Like someone who just wanted to part of this group and she would not fit in if white. But because I got to know her, swearing, smoking, listing to music and all those things that a proper woman wearing that (I assume) would not do. Still not sure about tha character. Or the actor. :)
But as I walked by two of those las week (rarely happens) and I saw them on the phone trying to orient themselves, I would have with out hesitation ask what they were looking for. I didn't. I wasn't sure if I get them into trouble.
So between strangers, we only know what we can read off of the person . How approachable you are. Clothe and behavior.

And then she talks about Scott Pilgrim and All About Eve... I knew there was more than one reason to love her. Getting inspired by the best and writing the best.
Just saw the first episode and loved it. Then went to watch the second episode and see that I need a premium subscription 😒😡
If they put so much effort to learn to actual sing, it will be sad to not give a promo gig/concert maybe for 3th season, when is coming out...

I just binge-watched this for the third or fourth time in a year. I'm from the States and love this show so much!😭🥹 Amina speaks to me so much. I've always wanted to be a musician since I was 14, but social anxiety and depression got in the way.😥 Now at 58, I just "celebrated" 29 years at my 9-5 job. I'm miserable.😞💔 I still want to create music, and have to find a way to do it on my own.. and watching We Are Lady Parts inspires me so much to not give up on my dreams no matter how "old" I am. Thank you to Nida and all of the ladies of Lady Parts! Can't wait for season two!🥰🥲❤️❤️
Here's a major question: Are these girls Muslim themselves? I assume no. It would have been nice to have Muslims be casted as Muslims.
Why do you assume no? Because they are not wearing a hijab? Did you even listen to what they were saying? I assume no.
