And Chris is spot on with what he is saying about how the Flyers should have traded Giroux somewhere around 2015 or 16 and that we need a GM who has balls and who who will make that type of move with Konecny. I'm so tired of being a bubble playoff team year after year because the Flyers are constantly short-sighted and just looking to make the playoffs instead of winning a Stanley Cup
Anthony has "Mushy Middle" derangement! You are going to get a small haul for TK. You have to sell HIGH on players, especially when you are rebuilding. Konecny will be Atkinson in 3/4 years. Ant, great assets in 4 years will be ALOT better than an old man TK
Anthony's reasoning when it comes to a rebuild is the exact type of thinking that has had the Flyers in the dreaded middle for the last 10 to 15 years

I always hated the fact the Flyers never did a COMPLETE TEARDOWN by trading their best players in order to gain assets while obviously getting a top 3 pick in multiple years to land the star player (s) to build around... They got lucky with Michov and the one year they got the 2nd pick is because they hit the lottery... Geez terrible to be mired in mediocrity!!!

Trade Laughton & Konecny. I’m so tired of hearing about Laughton being “good in the room” and for “culture.” Meanwhile they keep saying how the culture and locker room were bad the last few years. Konecny is a good player on a bad team, he’s not even close to elite in this league. Trade him for assets/young players.
And like Bob Konecny will be hoisting the cup in a few years
I would rather take eight or nine years to rebuild the right way and finally win a cup the way that Colorado did than to be stuck in the middle for 10 to 15 years and only win one playoff round the way the Flyers have. Anthony's logic is so faulty It's cringe worthy
