When I look at this German team, as considered the worst one, but I think Ribbek could do better, look Deisler, Ballack, Scholl, Kahn and some Bayern players, not too horrible team. Bierhoff and Bode were goos players as well.

Glaube dieses Team ging als „Rumpelfussballer“ in die Geschichte ein. Wobei das Team von Namen her in einem funktionierenden Team vielleicht hätte was reißen können. Aber 2004 war es im Grunde kaum besser. Tatsächlich waren die Ausgangslage zum erreichen der K.O. Runde sehr ähnlich. Aber beide Male wurden die Geschenke der anderen Teams dankend abgelehnt. Eigen von 98 an bis 2004 mit die schlechteste Phase der Nationalelf wenn der „Betriebsunfall“ WM Finale 2002 nicht gewesen wäre. So kann man eigentlich die aktuelle Phase von 2018 bis jetzt 2024 als noch schlechter bezeichnen. Obwohl man eigentlich die deutlich talentierteren Spieler im Kader hat.

Germany had an atrocious team and an even worse coach. This was the direct result of German clubs only buying foreign players due to the rule changes instead of focusing on their own youth system. As a result they had no one to pick from. They never became again what they once were
