Thank you for carrying your torch brightly. I have seen so many bands go too crazy and change instead of evolve. This is a newer sound to something like Satori but refined in a way that isn't alienating. Its rare when a band can keep blazing into new territory without losing their identity that made me fall in love with them in the first place. Keep it up guys.

Because I get the exact feeling I used to have whenever I stayed at my friends' place.
The first verse got me into this overwhelming feeling of nostalgia in particular :)

I hear you. Only just found this band. Saw the outcome after listening to 2 albums and really liking them. Like, damn dude, you had something amazing, and surely a good looking guy with a ton of musical talent must have had plenty of *conscious* people throwing themselves at him??? Nah "We Speak" was their unofficial first album. It wasn't on Equal Vision, and I'm not sure if it was ever officially released, but it's on TH-cam. They never talk about it, or play anything from it, though.
Too bad they didn't released "We Speak", its my favorite album and what got me into this band

These lyrics are pretty sour in retrospect of what happened. I only just found the band, listened to 2 albums and loved them before hearing why they were on hiatus. It's a weird thing, to think that since the band broke up there's no reason *not* to listen to them, it's not like it's contributing to any ongoing harm, but... Do I *want* to try to ignore the background? Eugh.
I guess if nothing else it's a good reminder that when someone says 'I am not a perfect man I fuck up often' there's always a chance that they aren't talking about petty arguments or difficult choices, they might just be a scumbag. "We are all degenerates"? Not many of us did *that*, dude.
Sucks the lead singer is a legit “degenerate” and this band is prob done now. Sigh
