The guy on the photo with the crown was the King Juan Carlos I of Spain until 2014 when his son Felipe VI took him over and he is now King of Spain 😊🇪🇸 I am Spanish and enjoying your videos a lot, it is hard to find such a abandoned jewels so thank you for your great work😉
Wow guys! Every year my family and I go to visit the area, and I never know this place was there. I find out the history. The town was built in 1961, and it was around 20 houses. In there the technician of a civil construction, that you can see in the beginning , and keepers lived. According to an article there were 20 houses, school, pool, tennis court, police station and a church. The picture you found is the former king of Spain. I guess all the machines were for the engineers. It was abandoned due that the control of the civil construction were moved to a big city nearby. In 2017 the agency who owns the place tried to sell it. The beginning price was 2 millions €.
@LaBelle424242 awww thank you so much❤️ I miss him a lot but I got to have 33 years with him. We got married, he was 18 and I was 20. He and our 4 children were and are my life. I’m so thankful
The simplicity of the houses is just beautiful.I can only imagine the happy memories held within the walls of every building. Its sad, happy and beautiful all at the same time.I hope I am not the only one who says to themselves"please God,let it be open"when they are approaching a home
I just found your channel and fell in love with it. In Finland, we rarely find anything like the mansions and houses you've been filming in France and Belgium so it's quite a trip for me! The abandoned houses here are mostly old farm houses. Guess it wasn't common in Finland to build such ornamental and bombastic houses. Keep up the good work!

yes...I agree with you ..am baffled as to where the people went to ...and why have none come back to collect any of their valuables..or even clean up and safely bolt up and secure their homes so they can always come back for a those weekends when they have a few days off .. maybe they were advised the water was contaminated and they had to leave for health reasons. Or they found out the land is contaminated with some chemical which can be harmful and therefore an evacuation was put in order. I just want to know the truth here ..

I love to watch Explomo videos. Everytime I do, I lose track of time and get lost in the video'S. I can't stop at just one. I always feel a sense of peace after I've watched them. Thinking about the lives that lived there. The memories the people carry in their minds & hearts. And always so many unanswered questions that will never have an answer. Thank you guys for bringing these places to us from far far away. I'm in the East side of The United States🇺🇸 East Tennessee, Knoxville to be exact. The foothills of the Smoky Mountains.. 36:45 is my favorite part...after so many locked doors and windows, I seriously expected it to be locked!!! Laughed so hard!!! The door handles and woodwork in the "Government Building" are incredible. And those arched windows! 49:26 ...wish you had turned the cross back to it's proper placement. Great video!
What an epic video of that abandoned ghost town! - Dear friends, I sometimes had the impression walking at your side, when you were going from one house to the other. - The big house strongly reminded me of a municipal building with offices and meeting rooms in the ground floor, whereas the first floor might have been the personal residential appartement of the town mayor of this town. - These strange machines you were showing, might well have been used for testing and/or calibrating materials to standardize them in some way. - The view was breathtaking, and I listened with great fascination to the somehow also very sad background story of this place. - At the beginning these droneshots were again amazing and a great pleasure to watch. - Very well done, dear friends! - Amazing video! This is a beautiful place to live. Its a shame no one lives there anymore. The houses are lovely and look like they were very cosy when occupied. Drink lots of water in the heat guys and thanks for sharing xx
Definitely from the 60's. The tiles and the bathrooms too. The machines you saw in what you call "museum" had to do possibly with electric power production or water pomping. 😊 ❤️
the villagers were actually forced out by Franco's decree, and the village was supposed to be made into a reservoir except the waters never reached that high. To this day the villagers are not allowed to claim back their properties. Signs of Spanish dictatorships from corrupt govts.
Absolutely beautiful scenery!!!!!!! The views the people got up in the morning saw everyday. WOW!!!!! You guys are the best of what you do. Maybe they had to leave because of the dam??? I would of loved living there. That is a piece of heaven right there. I like the Spanish architecture. I liked the yellow tile in the bathroom (the tower house) All the furniture etc is just going to waste in that house. I totally remember the ghost town in Portugal. That was awesome. A ghost town of contradiction. Some in good shape and others in total decay.
The View are spectacular. I am both happy and sad at the same time. Happy picturing the kids running and playing and learning in the school and having their parents working and being neighborly and having picnics and now it's so sad because they all had to leave and leave their Hometown behind and not be able to come back that is so sad. Have safe travels my friends. 🌈
- What happened to you guys at the house of Engineering? You said you heard a car approached and Raemon face was scared and full anticipation. But, then, nobody was there and pretend that nothing happens. LOVE SO MUCH THIS EXPLOMO!!! Good job 👍
But if this was the case..why leave them open? Ok, some of them are closed but the ones they did gain access to, nobody would think that no-one is going to go in in this day and age...
yep I agree, they are not abandoned especially when there is bottled water outside. All the more reason not to force your way in. Those poor villagers were forced out of their homes by Franco's decree. Maybe some have repossessed their homes?
It seems that this village would have been for the reservoir and dam management/maintenance employees and their families. Probably abandoned when everything was automated. Another fantastic explore (video Maureno and Ramon. 👍🏻👍🏻
Simon, thanks for the succinct explanation. That's basically what happened to the village I lived in. The Residents were all INCO employees. The large house in the video with all the bedrooms and kitchens reminded me of what we referred to as thebunkhouse, where workers who came to do repairs on the dam or workers repairing or replacing hydroelectric equipment would stay.
My brother lived in region during Chernobyl incident. He suggests you look at area affected map. Water ways, valleys, low lying areas were deeply effected and some areas are still tested today for residual.
Incredible Find. Just so sad that it is abandoned. I'm sure there were many stories of this town. You Both did such an Amazing Job with this Video. You never cease to amaze me. Take Care, Much Love For Your Health & Safety Each & Every Day!

Today is Sunday Nov.22,2020 I was watching ya'll last night and how interesting here I sit again watching you young guys on your journey this kind of stuff is so educational be careful and Thankyou for sharing. ❣
If you look closely at the architecture, tiling, colors, etc., it appears that all the buildings were designed and built by the same people. I believe it was a government operation. Perhaps there are dams that need to be managed or the town housed the employees who oversaw the flooding of the town below. The 1st 2 houses you couldn't get into were actually duplex apartments. Once the dam/s were built, the area flooded and monitored for a time, there was no need for the employees to remain. This is my take on it.
Wow. Many thanks for walking all those steps to explore and document this fantastic town with all those beautiful buildings. Think I would of ran away when that generator started up 😂😂 What an amazing adventure. I felt like I was with you. Stay safe guys and I look forward to more of your exploring adventures. 💖💖💖
This almost reminds me of a very old military town since the houses all seem to have been built at the same time and they all have the same white tile in all of them.
Thank you Explomo for this beautiful video x also thank you for walking up all them steps to show us this abandoned village x the view from the steps on the lake was the best x
Thank you for a very enjoyable video. It was such a beautiful place. I can't get out right now with my broken ankle i really enjoy your videos. Thanks for showing this town. Please be very careful, love you young men.
Absolutely stunning location🥰 The views are just beautiful🥰 Now if I was a millionaire, I would definitely buy that village, restore and renovate the houses and land, then return to the people😊
Hi boys! The only difference between Spain and the the Grand Canyon is one of them is missing a lot of trees and grass! I wonder how long that trash dumpster has been sitting there, and that little patch of grass in the middle of the first place looks like it's been mowed? Unless, it's farther away than it looks! Wow, this has to be one of my favorite places! That'd be neat if you guys made a table book of just the beautiful scenery you show us! I'd buy it!
My Dad was a handsome Spaniard he wore suit and tie, crisp white shirt with a black Stetson. I really miss him, he was murdered in 73 I was 9yrs old, you know I've always wanted to visit " MALLORCA SPAIN " named after our sir name " MAYORGA" eventually changing the spelling to what it is now ... maybe some day, with GOD all things are possible. Amen.
And FROM TUCSON ARIZONA USA, ON CHRISTMAS DAY, I WISH YOU BLESSINGS AND PRAYERS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY TO BE ABLE TO AVOID THE CORONAVIRUS AND MINE TOO! HAPPY AND BLESSED 2021... MUCH LOVE, ME; POGO
That big building you DID get into looks to be perhaps like a "municipal building" or a city building, courthouse or something similar. All that machinery - hard to know. Looks like perhaps something that was used in a pumping station and there are a lot of architect drawing tables to maybe it was a zoning and planning building for that city - even though it was abandoned. VERY interesting find guys. I doesn't look like a residence although when you got to what looked like a dining room that blew my theory. MIGHT still be a city building though.....like a mayor's residence or something. I mean even the "mayor" has to eat and have guests perhaps. HA!! Maybe it served more than one purpose
I enjoyed exploring with you guys . Very beautiful country . Glad to see all of the houses . The one that was outstanding to me . Was the beautiful house . Of the Mayer . Be careful guys . Have a great evening .
Omg I couldn’t go up their ,I can’t do heights ,so breathtaking .So sad that no one lives their ,but if you lived on the top ,you would have to clime all those steps .I don’t get it ,it’s as though all of them have vanished.Where have they all gone ,great find ,stay safe much love Ann uk xxxxx

THIS was amazing not just one place but a whole town , the view was beautiful , and that house how nice was that still so clean looking , wow this find and video was out of this world amazing , thanks for sharing loved it , so interesting to watch and see , till next time , peace out . :)
It seems to be constructed for the employees and the families of the workers while constructing the dam. It takes years. And the big house storage water pumps, valves, power generators, etc. Likely to be the management and main engineering office and home of some engineers. When they finished the dam everybody went back home. Must be company properties.
Wow the views are amazing. I wonder what happened here ? Very strange. You walking all those stairs omg. Thank you guys this was cool and very interesting. Take care 🙂💖💖
Another awesome vid showing what you 2 go 2 for us! (did I miss the church?) In the bldg with machinery, the metal box that said underwood was a typewrite cover. Going now to watch Portugal one. Thanks again. Be safe.

Espero q ojalá lean mi comentario y me ayuden con eso!! Saludos desde Colombia!!Activate the subtitles in Spanish so that the experience of seeing your content and fully understanding it is incredible because it really is an excellent job that you do and that way you would achieve more subscribers.
Very beautiful homes in what was probably a very quaint town I really enjoyed this video as I enjoy all your videos ; I hope one of those buildings was once a market I couldn't imagine having to walk all them stairs to go to market and getting home and realizing I forgot somethings lol great video guys
That looks like you went into a geology/survey building. See stuff they use for sampling and crushing stone and raw ore. Wonder if they were looking for precious minerals, metals or possibly just studying the countries geology makeup.. Really neat drafting and modeling tables too.
Hi guys! I wouldn't want to venture out of this town to do the groceries, imagine having to traverse those stairs all the time! Wow! Absolutely stunning view! About 1000 stairs, yikes, imagine the people who built it all! Oh my! What would cause a whole town to up and abandon their homes, was there a terrible recession maybe? 21:48, that is actually called Pampas grass and it's a bit big to use as a quill for writing. lol. The house with the tower was amazing and that map you found, incredible! Maybe it the council house. 46:12, sounds like a woman's voice. Thanks, guys, that was great! xxx
Dear friends 🙂 this must have been the town hall. Only official buildings had the Juan Carlos I, King at the time of Spain. The King👑🇪🇸 looks very young in the picture. Now hes 80+ years old and not King👑 any more, as his son Felipe VI is the 👑 now. Thank you for your work!! I love it😍 plus you are very handsome and civil-educated👍👍👍 I am Lola from Barcelona and your follower👏👏👏when in Spain again contact me and I'll tell you about places😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️

Amazing and quiet place I really like your compactness and I always watch your youtube shows, thanks from all of you, I can find an abandoned luxury house full of art and mystery God bless you all
Hello everyone from TURKEY, I really love your videos!! I was watching this episode and in the last house's kitchen cabinet I thought I saw something Turkish. I played that part again and I was right! There was a package says " Kırmızı mercimek". It means "red lentil" (you can see at 1:05:44). It was a surprise for me to see it in a ghost town on the mountains :) keep on exploring!!
Hi guys, wow a whole abandoned village, a rare find. The things in the vase at 21:47 are called Pampas Grass - www.nerjarob.com/nature/pampas-grass/ The village seemed really sleepy and peaceful but also quite ghostly. Thank you both for a fantastic explore, you should be super fit now after climbing all of those steps. Thanks for sharing, much love. xx💖
Where to begin?!? As we all know, more people require more power. Looks like the river was dammed to generate more power and probably covered half the village in the lake. I've seen that happen so often. A sad aspect of our modern society. Now, back to the video. Guys, you really made me feel that I was right there exploring with you! I could feel the pull on the leg muscles going up ALL those stairs. But at the top, it was spectacular! I'm so glad Remon got to experience his first "ghost town!" Nothing quite like it. You did a great job sharing all kinds of different house styles and gardens. I loved the large municipal building with all of it's offices and bedrooms. I have to agree with a lot of the other commenters below about it's use. It would have been a lot of fun to see if you could find the river that was dammed and see what the town was called. I just read the post from the lady who lived in that village. It was a wonderful update. The hour + went by so swiftly! As I said earlier, it was so much fun discovering places with you in the moment. Thank you both for putting all that effort in to produce a video that was 'over the top'. Stay safe, my friends.
I love ❤️ your work, you are very professional, thank you for taking the time to bring to your subscribers nice and interesting things to see. I wish you the best of luck and I’m sure you will reach a million subscribers or more very soon.
Great video. The man in the picture in the office is the former king of Spain. And everything in that room full of equipment looks like some sort of museum. Everything in there are implements to work with water in some capacity. That building must have been the town hall or equivalent. Happy Christmas and New Year to everyone here who is sending good wishes. I wish you a healthy--and normal!--2021.
At 49:19, the cards with strings reminds me of a deceased person in the United States where identification of the deceased person is identified by the toe tag that isvtied to the toe and through the zipper of the body bag for proper identification
I huffed and puffed every step with you guys. There has to be a good reason probably a government flub up.I hope it has nothing to do with contamination of some sort. You guys stay safe.love from Oklahoma. 👍👍💗💗👵🇺🇸
At minute 38.26 signs say Ministry of Public Works & Aqueduct (which is an engineered system to conduct a water supply). You should have left the portrait of the King upside down as you found it - perhaps it has some significance. For that matter you should not disturb anything, but leave everything as you encountered it.
Seriously the two locked houses looked occupied to me .. the noise of a generator and so clean around the homes .. water bottles and fresh cut lawn? The rose bush was neatly pruned as well ! And when lifting the shutters the windows were spotless ! Anyone else feel this town is not abandoned completely ?
Yes think there's a ghost inside the house..coz I heard the noise 👣👣 foot steps enter walking down stairs.. then quickly both of you get outside..but the noise disappear...

I'd buy it!
Thankyou for showing us ,I'm glad you went up all those steps for us xx
A lovely little village...too bad it has been abandoned-such a wonderful view and location.
What happened to you going in the tower? Did I miss something?? I would live in one of these houses!
Wonderful Explore
☺️👍
My Dad was a handsome Spaniard he wore suit and tie, crisp white shirt with a black Stetson. I really miss him, he was murdered in 73 I was 9yrs old, you know I've always wanted to visit " MALLORCA SPAIN " named after our sir name " MAYORGA" eventually changing the spelling to what it is now ... maybe some day, with GOD all things are possible. Amen.
can't imagine. bless you.
Yes Spaniards are elegant people
I don't know how I missed this adventure. What a beautiful little town. So sad that everyone left. So many beautiful items left behind
It is a material testing laboratory and design department used by civil engineers. Mechanical Engineer, USA.

Hi!!

I am so glad I live in Canada and we are -15.....and snow....lol
Too hot for me!
Oh my goodness...water,lots of water
Love u!💜💜💜
THIS was amazing not just one place but a whole town , the view was beautiful , and that house how nice was that still so clean looking , wow this find and video was out of this world amazing , thanks for sharing loved it , so interesting to watch and see , till next time , peace out . :)
It seems to be constructed for the employees and the families of the workers while constructing the dam. It takes years. And the big house storage water pumps, valves, power generators, etc. Likely to be the management and main engineering office and home of some engineers. When they finished the dam everybody went back home. Must be company properties.
Nice to sit on sofa cuddle blanket go along with you two on this horrible wet day in the uk xxx Thanks both glad you both ok and stay safe
Be safe.
Grand Canyon is beautiful.
What a climb. At least you had stairs to get you up there. Your legs will be hurting now.
Hola amigos!! Q tal?? Saludos desde Colombia!!Activate the subtitles in Spanish so that the experience of seeing your content and fully understanding it is incredible because it really is an excellent job that you do and that way you would achieve more subscribers.
I just subscribe anyway..even though the videos are in English and I rather speak my native tongue (Scottish Gaelic)..
solo español soy latina no entiendo inglés lástima muy especial video
Very beautiful homes in what was probably a very quaint town I really enjoyed this video as I enjoy all your videos ; I hope one of those buildings was once a market I couldn't imagine having to walk all them stairs to go to market and getting home and realizing I forgot somethings lol great video guys
There are roads... they didn't carry all that equipment up the stairs
39:44 he was the king of Spain, Juan Carlos I. I think it is the town hall.
Equipment for the dam. the photo was the past King of Spain.

Thank you very much show place abandoned world,
Hope health always you both.
God bless you.
From your fans Jakarta.
Indonesia 👍👍👍👍
You’re amazing!! Thank you and god bless you too :)
That looks like you went into a geology/survey building. See stuff they use for sampling and crushing stone and raw ore. Wonder if they were looking for precious minerals, metals or possibly just studying the countries geology makeup.. Really neat drafting and modeling tables too.
I agree with this comment plus machine to test strength of rock
Thanks, guys, that was great! xxx
Oh that’s really nice places to unwind but kind of scary though guys take care we will continue to watch until to the end of your adventure 💯👍👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Awesome video guys! 👍👍 Wish we knew the story behind it. Thanks for showing us!
Wow! I love that place. Very peaceful.
Absolutely phenomenal intro. Thank you again for such a wonderful adventure. Love the music too.
Well done guys xoxo
Dear friends 🙂 this must have been the town hall. Only official buildings had the Juan Carlos I, King at the time of Spain. The King👑🇪🇸 looks very young in the picture. Now hes 80+ years old and not King👑 any more, as his son Felipe VI is the 👑 now. Thank you for your work!! I love it😍 plus you are very handsome and civil-educated👍👍👍 I am Lola from Barcelona and your follower👏👏👏when in Spain again contact me and I'll tell you about places😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this ghost town. Its beautiful there. Not sure why there are no people living there though. Thank you for sharing. This was a very nice adventure to watch.
Amazing and quiet place I really like your compactness and I always watch your youtube shows, thanks from all of you, I can find an abandoned luxury house full of art and mystery God bless you all
Hello everyone from TURKEY,
I really love your videos!!
Omg boys those stairs 😮well done that's one mountain hike
This guy makes me glued to his videos, his work is great👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hi guys, wow a whole abandoned village, a rare find. The things in the vase at 21:47 are called Pampas Grass - www.nerjarob.com/nature/pampas-grass/ The village seemed really sleepy and peaceful but also quite ghostly. Thank you both for a fantastic explore, you should be super fit now after climbing all of those steps. Thanks for sharing, much love. xx💖
Such beautiful homes, can imagine what it was like with families living there!
I wish you the best of luck and I’m sure you will reach a million subscribers or more very soon.
i love it and would buy that town . did you notice the cross in one of the bedrooms of the mansion it was upside down madre de Dios
You guys make really high quality videos. The Proper People are really good too.
Magic.."Thankyou for posting
At 49:19, the cards with strings reminds me of a deceased person in the United States where identification of the deceased person is identified by the toe tag that isvtied to the toe and through the zipper of the body bag for proper identification
I huffed and puffed every step with you guys. There has to be a good reason probably a government flub up.I hope it has nothing to do with contamination of some sort. You guys stay safe.love from Oklahoma. 👍👍💗💗👵🇺🇸
Kitsault in Canada abandoned town I’d love visit there and places like this x
Great video guys I bet it's creepy at night would love to do a spirit box session there. Keep up the good work and stay safe😷✌️👌
49:28 cross on the wall upside down!
Yeah, i noticed it too.. 🤔 And it was scary
Hopefully it was just some kids being stupid
What does that mean?
@@jannabors1961 it's a satanic sign
Yeah that was a bit spooky!!!
Perhaps squatters found themselves a sanctuary!
At one moment i was afraid when you heared the noise. Please be very careful guys! Nobody knows what can happen. Wish you all the best!❤️
Yes think there's a ghost inside the house..coz I heard the noise 👣👣 foot steps enter walking down stairs.. then quickly both of you get outside..but the noise disappear...
Thank you EX
That was amazing..
Stay safe..
Great Explore guys. Thank🌻You Both.
Wow this video has an awesome views .thanks Maurino an Remon,.
Hello MAURENO and REMON I love watching the video the question is where are the people living in that village... watching fr. BAGUIO CITY PHILIPPINES
This was great. Love the long videos. Thanks
Hey guys , that is awesome , sad to see it left like that , think that main building was the council chambers and works department, keep up the great work , and , greetings from New Zealand .:-)
Very beautiful town. The building that looks like a church, one of the bedrooms had an upside down cross. Kind of creepy.
