We both super keen light gear fishermen.

Jealous! Flathead regs here in tas have just changed, unless its a tiger the keep size is over 35 but under 40. Goes to show how important responsible fishing is for the sustainability of both the fish and the sport.

Yeah I wish we did get big flathead like east but I guess we have it better in other ways for sure.

I had a few similar experiences in those areas, couldn't get away from the flathead, plagues of them, so much fun
