I love both these foundations. I mix the matte in 115 & the smooth in 110. They work great together & mixing makes the perfect shade!

I mix the two…2/3rds dewy to 1/3rd matte, with a tiny bit of primer added. It’s perfect!

I have normal/dry skin and I actually really like the matte + poreless one! LOL. I wore it during my whole pregnancy with my youngest son and use to always get so many compliments on my skin! I haven't worn it in a while because I've been really loving my true match lumi lately... but I've been thinking of going back to it for the summer because it gets CRAZY hot down here in the south with way too much humidity! Even if I wore the most mattifying foundation in the summer, I would probably still end up having a nice glow. LOL.
Did you recomended the matte+poreless for normal/dry skin?

I thought i was the only one that had that problem with the shades , i too use 120 it is a bit dark for me but the 3 shades above r way to light and very pink undertones i wish they would come up with a shade a bit lighter , but other then that they r both great foundations and so affordable, Great comparison video!
Matte and poreless 110 is darker than dewy and smooth. When first applied it looks A LOT lighter, but when it oxidizes it becomes darker. I have a picture if you want gyazo.com/f5c501e5324d0d6e014e09163607a927 (First is dewy and smooth and second is matte and poreless after 3-4 hours).
For me they're still too dark :( I have to mix with A LOT of white to make them work xD They're great foundations.
【Elena】SadvιαnilLa I find the opposite. The 110 Matte + Poreless is much lighter and more yellow toned than the 110 Dewy + Smooth.
Dalai Mami When they haven't oxidise the matte and poreless is lighter, but once they oxidise (depends on your skin) that one is actually a bit darker :(
【Elena】SadvιαnilLa not for me. Even after it oxidizes, the M+P is still lighter, which is too light for me. I have to mix 110 & 128, since they're both yellow toned. The 110 D+S is my shade (but it's too pink, so I mix it with a yellow concealer).
missyliaj smith 128 is yellowtone!she told me 120 is pink,125 is pink too,but i guess on that one,128,yellow, I use 220 all the time, Im a itialan so.
They must have changed the formula with the dewy and smooth. I remember trying that foundation when the fit me line first launched and it was a grease slick! I was more oily and combo then though and now I'm more on the combo and dry side. Maybe I'll try the dewy and smooth again. I've been contemplating on a different foundation.
Hi..i am 25.. I have fair indian skin with warm undertone. I have acne prone combination skin which is dry on my cheeks n forehead and oily on my nose and chin areas. I used mac nc25 before but I think it was slightly dark for skin tone. Also it felt slightly shiny on my t zone after a while.. I am looking for a matte finish foundation and primer which is not too dry. I am not able to find the right match for skin.
please suggest me a primer and foundation( suggest me shade as well)

I beleive with the SPF, the darker one will oxidize and dry down lighter.
I have DRY SKIN.. The mattte and poreless to me is a satin finish.. I wear dewy and smooth in "winter" (I live in the desert lol) matte and poreless in the summer..I dont set either with a powder.. I have seen some people who mix these two? curious what that would be like ?

Which foundation is best
I started using the matte and poreless one because I do have normal to oily skin, mostly on my T zone, but when I picked it up I got the worst shade ever, I got 220 and it was so dark it looked like mud on my skin and I did not like it all on my skin, so then I switched foundations, I started using the rimmel match perfection foundation in 103 true ivory and it was a little light for me but looked way better than the maybelline one, but after a while i started looking like a ghost. So I had the bright idea to mix the two foundations one day and it was my perfect match, but it did not look good because they are two completely different foundations from two completely different brands. So now Im looking for the same shade as the rimmel one but in the matte poreless foundation, I'm stuck between 115 an 120.
Which moisturizer do u use in order to get rid of greasy for all day long matte look
I have both of these and love both but not super impressed with the coverage 😢 i don't have much acne but the little I do have, it's like it's slides off my dark spots and shows them but looks great in other places.
Do you color correct? I do, I color correct on my breakouts and under my eyes before I put on this foundation, I think it works great especially with the help of concealer and foundation. Try that out. :)

i would go lighter with the dewy and smooth. I am a 118 in M&P but 110 in dewy and smooth. 112 in Superstay. They are all different even in the undertones. Not uniform at all
I've always mixed the two together when I choose to go with these foundations. They are perfect when paired together.

It might, but if your skin is super oily, I would go for the Matte and Poreless.
Is 120 Neutral, Yellow, Pink? I wear 220 Natural Beige.I need a bit lighter ,I seen by your video it not that bad as lighter from 220.
It's more pink on me, unfortunately. I don't know what kind of undertone you have, but I really like 128 "Warm Nude," which is a yellow, warm-toned shade. It's one of the most flattering shades I've seen in the Fit Me line. When it's too dark for me, I just mix it in with a white foundation mixer to be able to get that nice warm undertone!

These two reminds me so much of the Revlon Colorstay. The Normal/Dry version also appears a bit darker than the Oily one, but after they dry (on my face and on arm+paper swatch), they dry to the exact same shade, to nearly identical finishes too, the Dry one maybe a bit less matte because it has micro shimmers in it. I have weird all in one skin just like you 😂 both oily and both dry. But I have lots of texture so I think the Matte Poreless would be better for me. Thank you so much for this video. I've been trying to decide between the Maybelline Fit Mes and the L'Oreal Pros, but I think I'll go woth the Maybelline Matte Poreless after all, since L'Oreal has no shade near mine that has a yellow undertone, theirs are all so pink.
Can you help me what is the best way to blend the dewy one? And how much time does it take ro dry?
It might just be me but I'm shade 360 and I use the dewy and smooth. The shade match is perfect but I have oily skin and want to get the matte one... although when I go the the store the matte version looks lighter than the dewy and smooth . I'm afraid the shade won't match.
The shades don't correlate. So you will probably need another shade.
I'm really confused and need help because i have dry skin and the dewy and smooth would go better for my skin but i also want full coverage and as you said the dewy and smooth does fade away quick and end up showing the blemishes etc , any advices which 1 i should go for like final decision ? i dont wanna mix them both either ..
+Khadiza Begum I definitely think the Matte and Poreless could work with dry skin, too! It's more of a satin finish, so I think it could give you what you want, just as well. There are other foundations you could check out, as well, if these don't fit your needs.

is the dewy and smooth one too oily? I have oily skin and I accidentally bought the dewy and smooth one and I can't exchange it from the store I bought it. I'm scared. :(
+Anadi Iftekhar It's not too oily on my skin! But I also don't have super oily skin. It's not even that dewy. It's more of a satin.
I realise this video is old so I might not get a reply but are you meant to set the dewy foundation with powder or leave it bare? (By the way, I found the video very helpful!)
It depends on your skin type, how it wears on you, and what type of look you're going for. If you have dry skin, you may be able to get away without any setting powder or maybe just setting the areas where it looks too shiny. If you have oily skin, you can spot-powder and just hit the areas that tend to get greasy, or you can set your entire face. I hope this helps.

It's a cool, pinky/peach undertone, and yes, it CAN oxidize. But everyone's skin is different, so you may not have issues. 120 is not my perfect match. They've expanded their shade selection with more warm/neutral shades now.
l found Ponds BB Cream,a better option.

I really don't know what foundation to get. I have combination skin and I live in Arizona, so I'm afraid that if I get the dewy one I'll just breakout more.

I know you have acne prone skin but with where most of your acne is located have you considered whether your contour or blush breaks you out? A lot of bronzers and contour shades break me out.
I don't think I've tried the fit me foundation but I like the concealer. I may take trip to CVS.
+Jessaleigh Yesss. I actually just figured out that it's either my stick bronzer or my bronzer brush that I'm using to apply it with! Because it's the exact same place on both sides. Thanks! And I hope you like them.

Is there shades for pale with yellow undertones?
Just going off what I have in my collection, "120 Classic Ivory" has more yellow/warm undertones. I don't know how pale you're talking about, but the shade "128 Warm Nude" is a great warm, yellow shade! It's my favorite shade. I just can't wear it all the time, haha.

Hey! I noticed you have a couple breakouts (which may be normal for your skin, idk) BUT I did do some research on the post shave balm as a primer and found that it's not such a good product for that. I'll link a video in my comment that explains it. But if your skin doesn't normally break out, the post shave balm could be the culprit. I know it was for me! Yess, I have. Wow, thanks for the tip! I had heard once that it wasn't, but I've used it for awhile, and my skin hasn't always reacted like this whilst using it. So, I don't think it's that. But I'm glad you told me that! I think it's caused from not washing my brushes as often as I should. The areas I'm breaking out in are the exact same areas on both sides of my face, and I think it's caused by my bronzer stick (which is a cream) or my bronzer brush. I've washed my brushes, so we'll see if it's the culprit! Thanks again! XOXO
