What Rico score do you need for daily advantage card?
5% groceries up to $10,000 and no annual fee? This card is even better than the Amex BCP and Citi Custom Cash when you use it just for groceries!

The AAA Daily Advantage Visa looks like it’d be a good addition with the 5% back on gas and 3% back at wholesale clubs. I’d replace my Costco Anywhere Visa with it
You got the wrong card.
The Daily Advantage gets you 5% on groceries, not gas.
This is a good pair of cards! A issuer (and co-brander) with the times in regard to if you switch (or have switched) from gas stations to electric charging stations that is included too. On the other card like you state, Adam, depending on the merchant category code if you shop at a grocery store that is a good card as well. Both have decent limits for each calendar year too.
I was just going over "what's in my wallet" and the AAA travel advantage card has just moved up to my daily driver…
I could not find any better card for groceries, I was using my Hilton Surpass but I hit my minimum to get my FNC.. so the rest of the year I am using this card.
I am really impressed with this card, only complaint is it is slow for charges and payments to post but it is what it is.

Love the set up and the fact that both Chase Freedom Flex came with a 1 year 5x back on gas and Chase Freedom Unlimited 5x on grocery for the first year. My set up is currently perfect, but I can't help but think once these 2 categories go away... I was curious if you could give me your thoughts on your experience thus far with the Triple AAA Daily advantage card? I feel as though this covers the gaps perfectly for the lacking gas, grocery and Costco purchases, and this way I do not have to get an additional 2 cards like the Citi Custom Cash and the Capital One Savor One. Please let me know if my thinking is correct? Overall my goal is the fewest amount of cards to maximize my points. Thank you!

Hey got approved for 7400 credit score was 697 and 706 interest rate 24.99 % they said my credit is average that why the rate is so high but super easy to application thanks for the information

That AAA Daily Advantage is a little known badass. I didn't even know about it, but received a solicitation email and asked myself why would I NOT apply for this card!? I have one now.

My first payment to Comenity Bank after it switched from the old AAA Visa got lost. When I tried to use their card a few days after the due date, it got denied for "insufficient funds." On my prior AAA Visa card,, which I had had for almost 30 years, I'd never missed a payment and always paid in full each month. When I called the number on the card, the woman I spoke to told me that Comenity always froze accounts when a payment was missed. During the phone call, I made a bank transfer to pay not only my past due, the interest, a late fee, and the account balance in full to that date. She then informed me that my card would be still be locked/frozen until the next billing cycle - a full 25 days away - which was during the holiday season. I asked about my ongoing bills (Netflix, donations, etc.) that were charged against my AAA credit card, which I had just switched over to the new card number for Comenity Bank. She said that those charges would be denied. I asked to speak to a supervisor, who told me the same thing - that the credit card would be frozen until the next billing cycle. I asked her about that several times, because I have never heard of any credit card doing such a thing - especially, when the balance was now "$0.00." The credit card statement lists charges for late fees but I can't find anything that says the account would be frozen. She indicated that she could see the date that I had joined AAA Visa - and my payment history, but my good credit history did not matter. My card would be frozen. So I cancelled this account. Such a shame, because my old AAA Visa account was great. I would NOT RECOMMEND this card.
When you say "got lost", did you pay using the postal service? Its a tech forward company so paying directly using the account access would be the direct best route. Sorry that happened to you. Mailed in payments and bank wires have a disclosure about the delay in processing.

I received a pre approval email from AAA that I was pre approved for the AAA Travel Advantage Signature credit card. I accepted the offer and was immediately qualified for a $10,000 limit. This is great news because 6 days ago as of the writing of this, I qualified for a new car loan of $38,600 so I had some new credit inquiries on my credit report and I was afraid I’d be denied. My current Equifax score is 730.
Congrats! I got a 3500 CL due to lack of loan and low income. Had 14 hard injuries with 6 accounts credit score 731

Thank you for reviewing this card as I applied last night for AAA Travel Advantage Visa for 5% Gas to use it along COSTCO ANYWHERE VISA CARD BY CITI on my across America road trips, especially at Love's gas stations. For AAA Oregon Equifax was used for credit check. One question are you allowed to apply for the other AAA Visa Card, just curious.

I was interested until I saw the card issuer is Comenity. They were fine up until June when they did a system “upgrade”. Since June, I’ve had many issues and taking forever to get resolved. They still have not reported to the credit bureaus since June and it’s now October. No thanks.

@@lawmenforce initially not able to process payments but was resolved, not calculating rewards at the correct percentage, not posting transactions to rewards page and accruing the points earned resulting in not issuing rewards certificates earned, not reporting activity to credit bureaus since June. Still showing a $4k June balance at the credit bureaus when it was paid off in full in August. 30 minute waits on hold for customer service. They were good until June, but since the system “upgrade”, it’s not so good. I think they have resolved most issues except for the credit bureau reporting issue.

That AAA card with 5% cashback on gas stations would be an awesome addition for me but I don't think I would get approved as my new student loans came on my credit report and dropped me from 722 to 690

(AAA daily advantage) Even though I already have the Citi Custom Cash, Discover It, and the AMEX Gold, I could use this to get cashback on all those categories. I’m particularly interested in Wholesale Clubs since I use my Chase Freedom Unlimited to get 1.5X back. This would give me 3% back. Continuing from my last comment. I was thinking of canceling my Capital One SavorOne & AAA cards since I have a Citi Custom Card, Amex Preferred & maybe Chase Flex to cover streaming services. What would be your suggestion about that?

Keep your AAA Travel Visa and use it for gas. Use AmEx BCP for groceries, Citi Custom Cash for dining and CFF for its rotating categories. If your C1 Savor1 is old keep it for its history if not then cancel if it's a bother to you. One advantage the Savor1 has is that it has no FX fees

Hello! I also have the Chase Unlimited too. I think the unlimited is just like the Chase Freedom Flex but it has more merchant cashback offers compared to the Freedom Flex card. I'm thinking about canceling my Chase Unlimited along with my SavorOne that you mentioned in your reply.
Why cancel the cards? You will ruin your credit history. Just keep it.

As a AAA associate, I can tell you that you do not need to be a member to take advantage of the AAA Visa Credit Cards from Comenity.
I do not speak for the whole of AAA, but I am an associate in the DMV area and I work with this card every day and I am a card owner for the Travel Advantage Signature Visa card myself because I commute an hour each way and I love the 5% cash back on gas.
To answer one other question I saw in here. You are limited to one of these cards per person. So you can get the travel or the daily card. Not both. However you can have yourself get one and your family member or your spouse get the other one and then have yourself added as an authorized buyer.

Hello! I recently got the AAA daily Advantage card then i saw your review on the Amex Blue Card Preferred with it's two: 6% categories. I'm thinking of canceling my AAA card since I have the Amex Preferred for now. But I'm only keeping the Preferred until the promotion ends then I'll probably switch to the regular Blue Card. What is the AAA Daily Advantage program? Is it only available if you are a Northeast AAA member?
I can just see the bank allowing anyone to get the card, but not paying the 5% reward.
The rewards are in your account center. Tech forward company, they won't list your rewards in the paper statement.
"Purchases at AAA" - does this include the AAA auto insurance and home insurance premium payments?
No. AAA does not let you pay for auto or home insurance with a credit card. Good news is that it does include Club purchases made online or at AAA branches. "club" purchases would be things like AAA Auto Club (roadside service).

I was using US Bank's GO card for 4% back on dining, which I got 2 days after getting the Savor One card. AAA card will be used for groceries. Citi Custom Cash 5% card, which I got 2 weeks ago will be used for dining, or gas.
I also have a 4% GM Mastercard catchall card, which I can use for gas, or anything else. But can only be redeemed for GM products.
Now I will only use my Savor One for paying my Spectrum internet bill, which I was surprised to find out got me 3% cash back.
You're a giga chad of credit cards if you get approved for a 22k limit by accident and don't even need it 😂

That’s what I’m doing. I got the Gold Card back in March and the BCP has been collecting dust. I only use it to pay for streaming services. My annual fee posts in October, so I’m going to downgrade to the BCE now that I have the AAA DA and get 5% back on groceries and that awesome 3% back at wholesale clubs. 😅

Yes! Egift Cards, Apple Products, merchandise and (i think but could be wrong) CASHBACK (in form of mailed check).
Have you had any problems with them not reporting or reporting incorrectly? Lot of negative reviews out there. I’m pre approved so I want this card but how risky is it?
This won't be an isue if you just pay off the full debt each month..you probably dont want to carry balance over with such a high APR anyways.
That was when Comenity updated its system last year. I have a Petco card that didn't report for 8 months. The fixed everything and its been reporting every month for awhile now

I have BofA visa cash rewards and I have mine at 3% for gas and it codes as gas. I just applied for this to get 5% on gas.

What's the recommended credit score to apply?
Commenity bank took over the rights to the AAA credit card from US Bank which got the rights from Bank America in 2015. I was bored so I applied and was approved for the travel card and then thought what the heck, let’s apply for the other one too. A message popped up and said “you already have a card……” so apparently you can only have 1 of them, at least not both the same day. I too have had no alerts of a hard pull and it only asked me for the last 4 numbers of my social security number which generally indicates a soft pull but 🤷♂️.
Update: they did do a hard pull from Equifax for me. YMMV.

Stay away fr these cards. They’re linked to comenity bank and comenity bank is known to experience technical glitches. Plus, there’s no mentioning of minimum redemption. I’ve been told that the minimum redemption for rewards is $50.00. I was approved for the Daily Advantage but then I canceled my account after reading the fine prints.
I dodged that bullet with the NavyFed More Rewards... 50 minimum redemption, amex (not accepted in some places), and the rewards pale in comparison to my other cards.

I got apporved with a credit score of 721 with 14 hard inquires and 2 open accounts and 3 closed accounts. I didn't get past 2 years yet for my clearance on my hard inquires

There is no mobile app.

You do know there are banks that are worse than comenity or equal right? Take a look at how well fargo fraud charges their customers and lawsuits
