I just sold my beloved and sturdy 7D and picked up a 7D Mk II. Obviously, I was somewhat familiar with a lot of the settings, but this tutorial was fabulous. Really helpful, and I'm glad I found it!
This is the GOAT video's I have found so far which explains the actual functions of the camera to permit selecting one own pp. Thank you very much. Hopefully will find one for the Canon R6Mkii. :- )
I prefer shutter release button during ai servo shooting and back button( af on) set for af off / focus stop. That way when my subject stops or I need to recompose my shot. I press with my thumb(back button ~af off)then when my subject moves or takes flight I release my thumb(back button)and my ai servo returns to continues focus tracking.
This must be the most comprehensive guide I have seen ever !! Great work .. I also have a 70D and a 6D , now off to check out if you have a guide for them ..
This will depend on recording mode whether you're in MOV or MP4. Also your frames per second will be a determining factor. I would start with a larger mgb than needed and fast mega bites per second write speed. San disk extreme pro udma7 256 gig 120- 170 mgb per second is one of my favorites for c.f. or s.d. card.
Disliked because you answered no questions in comments below. So I answered one for you. Why didn't you answer...could it be you don't know the answers.
Absolutely brilliant guide, well explained ,yet simple and easy to follow, the best I’ve ever seen ,many thanks .
