Hong Kong is up there because of mainland chinese from China visiting, which is actually just domestic tourism as Hong Kong is China. London, Bangkok and Singapore are the true top 3s.
No, HK has 100M visitors a year if China visitors are included
Also the fact that Singapore is a layover (changed planes) for flights to Australia, India, flights from the Western countries like Europe & US for passengers going to Bangkok, Bali, & other Asian destination countries, not necessarily going to Singapore to stay there. The count should be if traveller entered the country, not just to board there the connecting flight.
singapore is overated. expensive and nothing interesting to see. been going since 1991 for electronics and work related. i leave asquickly as i can.

London has always ranked as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world for several reasons, yes among them is the Royal family. But London is also known to be a city that has some of most well known museums in the world like the National portrait Gallery, the British Museum , the Tate Modern etc The West End is on par with Broadway in NYC.

Not odd at all. Thailand is an amazing place. Beautiful, relatively safe and very affordable compared to western cities. Ntm Bangkok is a hub for the region so even if visiting Krabi or Chiang Mai most will still spend time in Bkok

It is. This creator didn’t wanna mention it. It’s not Hajj or Ramadan now but if you try to book a hotel now you wouldn’t find one most of the time. You gotta plan ahead of time because it’s usually full to the max. My family in Jeddah hosts visitors usually because they can’t find a hotel in Makkah and many homes in Saudi host Makkah visitors when Makkah is filled to the max.

These count foreign visitors only, who overnight. Your point stands though as imo visitors coming over the border from China to HK or Macau are still from the same country, which is why in some measures they exclude those territories.

Where is Las Vegas on this list? I read recently that in 2019 LV set a tourism record with over 41 million.Since then it's been down, but still over 30million, which would put at at the number 1 spot.
