- This is a taste test/review of the Faygo soft drink in five different flavors including Redpop, Grape, Cola, Twist and Orange Soda. The Redpop, Grape, Twist and Orange were mailed to us from Mona in Michigan! We bought the Cola at Rural King.

Tami Grape was my go to as a kid, now its grape cream soda cotton candy Rock n Rye lol red pop Orange. that grape flavor is the best grape pop I have ever had.

Faygo sodas are popular where I live as well! The only thing is they get flat very quickly. It's not a soda that you can drink a little of and save the rest for later
That's interesting. I had one of those 24 ounce bottles of Redpop last about 2-3 days before it finally went flat. That's about the amount of time it takes Coke or Pepsi products to go flat for me.
Red Pop, Raspberry Blueberry, and Moon Mist are my favorites. Cotton Candy tastes like a cream soda to me.

Strawberry (red pop) and fruit punch are my favorite flavors. It's their only truly distinctive flavors.
The rest are all kind of similar to Sunkist sodas in my opinion which are still really good. I just don't know if I could tell them apart in a blind taste test. However, I'd know Faygo strawberry, and fruit punch anywhere.
Faygo contain loads of sugar though. I think more sugar than most other brands.
Where I'm from I cant get these so i have to order them off of Amazon
Nice to see you guys trying a local fave! it's made in Michigan and very popular even across the border here in WIndsor, Ontario :) My fave is the diet Cream Soda and the Redpop and Root beer

I tried the grape one today and loved it. It tasted like grape bubblegum 😍 I’m very picky when it comes to fizzy drinks

The little local store by my house sells the faygo pop.
Kind of interesting you guys haven't tried Faygo yet. I've been drinking that brand since I was a kid (I'm 29 almost 30 now). But I also live in Michigan, so I have easier access to it. Faygo is also pretty easy to find in Wisconsin too (mainly in the gas stations). The flavors I usually get (and like) are Redpop, Moon Mist, and Moon Mist Blue. I'll also drink the Cola, Orange, Grape, Rock N Rye, and Root Beer. I actually didn't know until like 2012-2014 that Faygo was Michigan pop/soda (I call it pop). But I guess that explains why I see it almost everywhere in Michigan and even Wisconsin. I actually really don't drink Faygo that much. I stick to the major brands. And Coke and Pepsi products go on sale often in my hometown, so there isn't too much of a price difference between Faygo and Coke/Pepsi and I just stick to Coke/Pepsi (mainly Coke products).
My favorites are the vanilla creme soda and the cotton candy soda. I get them at racetrac gas station. If you can, please try those

Kwik Star or Kwik Trip in every state but Iowa has diet Faygo but I don't remember which flavors. I like the one that is like Hawaiian Punch.

I tried the cotton candy one. It was alright.
My friend gave me a can of grape soda and I left it on my bookshelf for years. I had to throw it away when the soda started eating through the can. Luckily the carbonation had leeched through the can so the soda was flat once it started to eat through where the "tab" is.

They sell faygo around here and they make a cotton candy, caramel apple, jazzin blues berry, and moon mist blue, ohana strawberry banana, ohana punch, pineapple watermelon, pineapple orange and many other amazing sounding flavors they do not offer in diet/caffiene free that I'll never try 😭

What flavor is the Redpop supposed to be?
According to Wikipedia its a mix of Cream Soda with Strawberry flavoring. But what's interesting is I have been drinking the Faygo Redpop since I was a kid and never really paid attention to flavor description and also never been asked to describe what flavor it is and what it tastes like. I tried it before I could read, liked the taste, knew it was red colored, and have been drinking it since, although it's been like 3-4 years since the last time I had it. Also, my taste buds might have changed since I was a kid (I'm 29 almost 30 now) and it doesn't seem to taste the same as it did when I was a kid. I still overall like it, but it REALLY has to be a mood now. I can't drink it as easy as I can Coke/Pepsi or Mello Yello. Nowadays, Coca-Cola's Coke (Pepsi if Coke products aren't available) and Mello Yello are my default pop/soda flavors (I call it pop).
Calorie counts are completely different now with the addition of artificial sweeteners like sucralose which is a deal breaker for me.
As far as I know the only flavor that does not have sucralose in it is Arctic Sun. It is delicious.
I should also add that if you can find Faygo in glass bottles it's made with real sugar no artificial sweetener and it is wonderful! 😋

We literally have to go abroad to get Grape Fanta. Haha you Americans getting Scotland, Wales and Ireland mixed up. My American Geography sucks but my European is decent.

You know, I understand some people don’t like diet soft drinks because of the artificial sugar. But since finding diet soft drinks, I could never ever go back to regular. So many unnecessary calories, I don’t understand how people do it! Such a waste of calories, no?! 🤷🏻♀️
I always seem to get sick when I have aspartame. So I stick to regular pop/soda (I call it pop). Also, I only drink about 1 or 2 cans a day. Usually only 1 can. So I'm good at keeping an eye on how many calories I drink. I also drink regular Coke the most, which doesn't have as many calories as other flavors. It has about 30-40, maybe 50 calories less than some flavors. For example, a can of Mountain Dew is like 170 or 180 calories while a can of regular Coke is about 130 or 140 calories. Oh and I can make a can of pop/soda last for about 5 hours. Unless I'm eating lunch or dinner. Then I blast through a can in less than an hour. So I'm not really getting all those calories at once. I'm taking it in slowly over time. Plus I'll bounce between pop/soda and water. I'll have a sip of Coke (for example) and then the next time I drink something, it'll be water, which "flushes" out the Coke. I actually drink more water throughout the day. The pop/soda is just there if I grow tired of the taste of water after a while and want something with sugar. Lunch or dinner is the only time I'm taking in a ton of pop/soda.

Like I said before, why do you guys need all those glasses? All you need is one glass. Just pour in one glass snd you guys share anyway.

There is the possibility of flavors mixing. They probably don't want that. And they probably don't want to rinse the glass out every time to get rid of any of the previous flavor remaining after they drink all of what's in the glass. It could mess up their reviews since they are getting a slight taste of the previous flavor and not getting just the flavor they are currently tasting/reviewing.
