    I think he was being polite when he said sometimes you get lucky. The Cosby deal is well known in certain circles, it's just that the media will protect most, so you always hear about stuff like this years later.

    • @montieluckett7036

      I don't think it was the news media so much as the Parent networks not allowing it because he was still a viable network sell. If the viewing public doesn't catch wind of it, then they've still got a source of revenue.

    Everyone knows who is doing what in Hollywood. Its a small community. Only when there is blood in the water and the person in question is perceived as being weak does the community suddenly turn piranha. The saddest part is that a lot of them took hush money, which should be illegal. Basically when a someone takes money to not say anything, they become part of the problem by enabling them to keep committing these acts.

    • @darealblair3262
      @darealblair3262 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jim Humphries when these people take hush money they become accessories to crimes that is part of the obstruction of justice these women repeatedly came back to involve themselves with the luxury lap of his success attempting to gravitate to their own personal objective and success themselves.

    Bobcat drops the screaming voice about halfway through his first album. He did misspell it "Meat Bob", and on the cover, his face is packaged in ground beef. IIRC, it's one of the only comedy albums Chrysalis Records ever released.
    For years besides directing, Bob's also been a semi-regular on NPR radio's quiz-comedy panel show "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me!" with another quirky-but-smart 80s comedian you might remember, Paula Poundstone. I'm more used to his regular voice from that show.
