A dedicated campaign would have probably went a long way in public eye. Unfortunately, it was shoved out due to reviewers focusing on the negative side and other titles being released. Similar to Titanfall 2,
@@trainoverlord3981 on one hand I get the lack of a main campaign was a bit worrying but I went in mainly focused on the multiplayer. Story shmory, we got friggin giant robots, jet packs and rocket launchers, that was enough for me lmao

I think a lot of it was because the 2 communities that practically bow down before the COD series and Battlefield were too busy with their own titles to try it.

things i miss:
FP embarks
Using your rockets while reloading.
Boarding animations instead of phase shifting into the dropship.
Old rodeo mechanics. New ones are fun but still.

This game is still massively innovative to this day.
I still remember the hype me n my buddies in high school felt when we all watched this on one of our friends phones during class the day this trailer dropped all those years ago. God I hope they’re all doing good now.

I really like the first games art style. Feel like the weapons specifically look better. I’ve always been a fan of more neutral colors for weapons instead of the brighter wackier skin colors of TF2. Still TF2 is fucking amazing
Imagine of they had mixed the storytelling styles. You have the main singleplayer campaign, then a multiplayer pvp campaign that takes place in battles *around* the singleplayer campaign. It would flesh out the scope of the story by a few miles.
The Titan grabbing you with its hand and putting you into its own cockpit still looks so cool. 👌

titanfall: has great movement, abilities, guns, titans, multiplayer, maps, ect.
everyone: compaigh bad, game bad.
Easily one of my favorite multiplayer shooters, so underrated and nothing has matched how this game made me feel

Man, I really love this kind of trailer where they show the match like a kind of real battle.
This was a much more gritty military themed shooter. Kinda wish they kept that theme in TF2

They fix some things but messed others,well not really fix cause it was pretty good,instead they added things to make it better and added things that made it not that good like seeing the enemy in glowing orange was a bad thing that made the soldier's camouflage pointless.

@@beastmodejelly8654 while camouflages make sense, it won't be fun to play against in a gameplay perspective...for the majority of people. so yeah, enemies glowing orange makes things fair and square as a game mechanic.
@@sivel7493 glowing orange makes it easier to separate a grunt and spectre from a pilot, there's no camo,there's neon shield apparently. That could've been a special ability instead of something permanent.

Titanfall basically dominated my entire 2014. While it's unfortunately all but dead now, it will forever hold a place in my heart.
It was so fresh and inspiring that days! Multi-layered action, no camping (if you stopped moving - you are dead), glorious locations and giant robots... so much memories.... *cries in 201x*

This was amazing until Call Of Duty ruined wall running and turned it into a game of "Whoever can jump around the most at point blank range wins".
Yeah they stole advanced movement from titanfall and now everyone hates it
Well it's not necessarily that it ruined advanced movement mechanics, it's that the COD community didn't like it because it wasn't the grounded experience you usually get from a COD game, so not everybody hates it, probably just the COD community.
Edit: and COD wasn't sopposed to be a game for Advanced Movement anyway, it was made to be a grounded first person shooter.

One of my most played games of all time. Can’t remember the exact figure but around 300 hrs. I played this game so much. This gameplay trailer brought back so many memories and so much nostalgia!

i miss this game so much, Titanfall 2 couldn't capture how great the first game was. I loved the multiplayer campaign, I wish they would have continued that into Titanfall 2. The campaign Titanfall 2 was short and at times felt chaotic.

I'm not into BR, but I'd take it if they add a mod with Titans. You could be dropped with a standard Titan chassis and you would have to look for weapons, additional armor, boosters and batteries. You could also disembark for a short time in order to rodeo enemy Titans and loot them once destroyed.

Titanfall 1 has been pulled from storefronts. It is now only possible to play it by getting a Deluxe Edition or Standard+Season Pass cd keys (otherwise free DLCs are not available!). The servers on PC are hit or miss in terms of their status, mostly missing a hit. The servers on both Xbox consoles are 100% working properly and the servers on Xbox One have a healthy player base.
