Do you need to keep the water at 100 degrees or is room temperature OK?

    100° Fahrenheit or celsius?

Hi there ☺️ Is there a reason for why you mix the ingredients in that order? It's essentially the same ingredients for a yeasted bread, without a few others and in different ratios, but generally you add the yeast first. Thus my question 😅

Hi! There was no real reasoning with the order of the ingredients. I agree that the yeast going in first makes sense but since I had the second batch of water that I added on top of all the dry ingredients so I figured that it would all pretty much mix together the same way. I'll be putting it up to the test tomorrow! Hope it works out. Thanks for watching!

I was wondering the exact same thing. Why not dissolve the yeast in a small amount of tepid water, then whisk in the sugar (which feeds the yeast) then tip it into the big bucket of water and whisk in the flour. But that's just my cooking experience (making waffles, blini etc). Might be different for pottery? BTW, I wasn't able to see a link to the firing :(

The video that followed was the firing! (duh)
