Hero officially launched the all-new Karizma XMR in India at the starting price of Rs. 1.72 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). The price is introductory and the official bookings for the motorcycle have already begun. The Karizma XMR marks the return of the iconic name in the Indian market as the last Karizma model was available sometime three years ago. The new XMR is based on an entirely new platform and the design theme differs from what we have seen on other Hero Motorcycles. The full fairing gives it a beefy look and we will explain it in our detailed review coming soon.
The Karizma XMR features an innovative 210cc, single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling, delivering 25.5hp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. This powerplant is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. Remarkably, this marks Hero’s inaugural liquid-cooled engine. The engine is housed within a robust steel trellis frame and is supported by a telescopic fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. 0-60 kph in 3.8 sec and the braking duties are taken care of by 300 mm disc at the front and 230 mm disc at the rear, while the company has given dual-channel ABS also.

How is not as sporty as R15 becomes a negative?? R15 is not bike for everyone. Hero with Karizma is targeting a wider audience. The riding position of Sporty commuters from Hero/HH right from first cbz to latest Karizma is not over aggressive. The slightly rear set foot pegs and not too low set handle bars coupled with soft suspension is always comfortable.

കാണാൻ വൃത്തിയുള്ള എന്നാൽ നല്ല comfortable ആയി ഓടിക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്ന ബൈക്ക് ആണ് XMR. ദൂര യാത്രകൾക്കും പറ്റും. ബൈക്കിൽ നിന്നും supersport level feedback വേണ്ടാത്ത ആർക്കും ഇത് വാങ്ങാം. ഒരു allrounder ആണ്. സിറ്റി ട്രാഫിക്കിൽ ഓടിക്കാനും സൂപ്പർ ആണ്.
XMR അടിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഒരു CBR vibe കിട്ടി എന്നുള്ളത് സത്യം. Engine, suspension എല്ലാ similar feeling തരും. ഇതൊരു legend ആവുമോ എന്നുള്ളത് കണ്ടറിയണം. ഇതൊരു sales success ആവും എന്നുള്ളതിൽ സംശയമില്ല
Hero ആയതിനാൽ after sales support പേടിക്കേണ്ട.
