Been watching for a while now and am loving how this doll has been turning out! It's such a long process, but i can see that it's definitely worth it ❤
Okay! And also for one piece molds? (it seems to me that that would be a bit harder to get the Release inside the mold. Have you also considered or used baby powder as release?@@katesamostudio
I open and spray it a bit) I actually never have the problem ejecting the detail itself, only the excess material sometimes sticks to the silicone (I guess because it doesn't have the smooth surface). I afraid to use any powder or liquid release because I don't want to lose the detail surface texture..
Hi! Task 3 is stronger after curing (it’s a ‘professional’ smooth-on series), but a bit translucent, and I really like that it’s curing time is ~20 min. It also differs with 305 by weight and the results after adding tints.
@@katesamostudio Thank you so much for your response. I’ve learned so much from your channel! Do you think the translucency adds to the realism or not? Also, what do you do for ventilation? Aren’t the fumes super toxic?

Hi! Thank you❤️ it is plastic fence, I bought it in garden section in the mall
Do you use a release agent in the mold, before pouring the resin?
Hi! Yes, I do use Ease release

Do you like the Task 3 over your previous Smooth On choice? What’s the difference?
