  • Our host Ailine hangs out with a herbalist and smoothie expert and wanders through the forest around the Ammersee. There, we collect wild herbs and berries to make fantastic smoothies with. On the nearby lakeside, she goes fishing with an old sea dog, who shows her how to catch a carp-and where to have it prepared, Bavarian-style.

Herbs are such a forgotten gem. So many herbal teas you can make just by walking outside and picking them from the ground. I love to pick any kind of mint leaves and chamomile, very good if you have anxiety or panic attacks.

Try drinking these herb teas, like chamomile or mint leaves. It calms down your nerves and you can sleep easily. I know what you man about panic and anxiety attacks, they are the worst. These teas help though.

Well, it depends where. In Poland we use them really often. Sorrel, common dandelion, seaberries, cloudberries, wild rocket, dogberries, wild rose, mirabelle plums, wild garlic, wild mint, balm, yarrow. You can find it everywhere, and people love to use them.

Just because something is part of Rosaceae doesn't mean it's the same thing or can just be assumed safe. It's one of the biggest fruit producing plant families in europe. If you'd eat all Rosaceae alike you'd be dead quite quickly due to the toxic compounds eg in Prunus seeds. She also picked a hybrid clover, not red clover. That won't make a big difference for consumption but makes me think that you shouldn't trust her knowledge too far.
She propably knows what is safe to eat but that's about it. The "health benefits" she talks about are rather homeopathic. And a bit dangerous, because with a cardiac disease you should see a doctor, not a hawthorn shrub.

This girl is so bored... it’s a shame!
haven’t we a german Charlet Duboc to present our country???
Great Britain, can we borrow Charlet to present the few beautiful sides of Germany!? There are not so many left and we need a godly presenter. There is only Charlet who can do this...
Munchies/ Vice, could you make this series new with Charlet pls?
It’s not normal to shame when you hear someone speaking your language, is it?
