    ▬ ABOUT THIS REVIEW ▬
Blue Apron vs Home Chef | Which Meal Kit Should You Buy? Owen Poole, our resident CNET Home chef, provides his comparison review of Blue Apron and Home Chef. Both of these meal delivery services offer fresh ingredients and one offers organic produce within its meal plans. In this video, Owen goes over the nutritional value, amount of servings per meal, affordability of the meal kit, and how these fresh meals taste. He'll also touch on the recipes provided by Home Chef and by Blue Apron; how easy the instructions are and whether or not the estimated meal prep/cook time is accurate. Owen also goes over who he thinks both of these meal kits are best for. Overall, we think Sunbasket and Blue Apron are great contenders for one of the Best Meal Delivery Kits online. Hopefully, this Home Chef vs Blue Apron meal kit review was helpful and narrowed down your search for the best meal kit plan.

Appreciate the comparison since I only got to try Home Chef & was pretty happy. Going organic unfortunately always cost more…

Thxs Owen...looking forward for you to checking out Hello Fresh.....Right now we are working with 2 companies...Hello Fresh and EverPlate ......just to be diversified....We find EverPlate to be light on pasta dishes and favor Hello Fresh for that....Also , when doing a premium dishes , the added cost on EverPlate is still lower than Hello Fresh premiums and we can get more steak choices for less...🙂

@@cloud9can At the beginning of the subscription , we too had a "delayed" delivery ..but by the 2nd -3rd week all was good...as for missing ingredients ,I can say "never"... Call them up and you'll might get a discount on your next order...if it does happen over and over , there definately is a problem...but it does get fixed..

Hello fresh and every plate are the same company. Every plate is the value version. But we also had a terrible experience with HelloFresh damaged ingredients also poor quality ingredients that mold and rot prematurely.

Does buying home chef for most meals save money vs grocery shopping?

Definitely not. Shopping yourself is always cheaper because you’re not paying for the convenience

@@michaelmackinnon9008 with free curbside pickup and buying ingredients in bulk, shopping for yourself will absolutely always be cheaper.
That being said, convenience is key here.

uhhh it probably doesnt even take a DOLLAR'S worth of gas to shop for an ENTIRE WEEK OR MONTH'S worth of groceries wtaff are you talking about??????
is the closest grocery store to you on the f!&king moon or something?????
how expensive do you think gas is????????
do you drive an 18 wheeler fullt loaded with molten lead as your personal vehicle???????
these scam compaines want TEN DOLLARS FOR A TINY BOWL OF PASTA AND A SHEET OF PAPER!!!!!
FOR THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY I COULD EASILY BUY AND ENTIRE DAYS WORTH OF FOOD!
      convienence my ass!!!!

You save more if you can control your spending, most people fail at that and buy more than what they need.
