Class video Scott. Really inspiring mate. The scenery looked really beautiful and moody. Gutted you had food Poisoning. Mega effort to pull yourself around so quickly. Proper marine 💪 We’ll done mate. Thanks for sharing. All the best marra 🙏
Proper good that Scott 👍🏼 really enjoyed it. Nice balance of cinematic sand to camera stuff. Solid effort too… especially with the food poisoning. Looked a cracker mate. I’m counting down the days now. Few more weeks and I’m back out. Try and get something sorted. Cracking mate!!! 👍🏼 take it easy, Craig.
Well done mate, looked like a cracking thru hike👌, one id love to do, you got some great footage along the way, and done well to get back on track after the food poisoning 💪, spot on mate, atb Mick 👍
Ohh yes I heard a cuckoo Not heard one around here in Leicestershire. Great challenge hike and you did well to Carry on after food poisoning. It ruined a trip to Knoydart and cut short my Sutherland trail hike too. Like you say 18 hours leaning over the loo while my pals were enjoying themselves. ATB cheers ✌️
Hi mate, enjoy your videos. Would love to see one on the clothes you wear. It looks like buffalo shirt and alpha direct sweater? How did you get on with them on a long trip?
I use a Senchi Alpha Direct 60 and a Patagonia Houdini. Works great. The Senchi is super breathable, then really warm when you put anything over it. 👍🏻
@@itsmescottp cheers buddy. Big fan alpha hoodies, very versatile. I've the macpac nitro hoodie but it hasn't stood the test of time that well in terms of durability must look at the senchi.
Well done mate. You guys were motoring along. I attempted it in April and came down with either food poisoning or Norovirus. I was so bad I had to go home, was absolutely gutted. I got mine on day two wild camping just outside of Rowardennan. Did you guys drink any of the water or stop to eat anywhere? Just wondering if it was the same thing. 🤷 Well done for carrying on though dude. 💪
@@itsmescottp Yep, that's where I ate also. Hummmm...I'm annoyed I went back and paid them £125 for a night in the hotel now so I could recover. 😠 I'll steer well clear next time and like you, stick to pre packaged food and dehydrated meals.
@@trickofthetrail I thought you went back to Rowardenan hotel where you ate the chips and cake in the Clansman? You didn't get as far as Inversnaid did you.
@@mandarinmiata8209 Yep, thanks for pointing that out. I totally mis-read the reply. For some reason I thought he said Rowardenan Hotel 🤦♂, not Inversnaid Hotel. Plonker. So, just to clarify. I ate at the Clansman Bar before getting ill and then headed back to the Rowardenan Hotel to stay the night. Sorry for the confusion.
I have very fond memories of the WHW. A great hike. Thanks for the film! Greetings from Germany!
My memory is food poisoning so i'll just have to do it again! 😂
Glad you enjoyed. 👍🏻
Epic adventure 🙌🏻🫡
Cheers. Yeah, with the exception of the food poisoning, it was awesome!
@@itsmescottp 😂 But you did crack on with it after 🙌🏻
Yeah definitely wasn't gonna quit 🤣
Well done to the both of you 👍🏻
Thanks!
Awesome you got the video out so soon was good to see you on the trail!

Cheers Mick. It's definitely a great hike mate, i just couldn't let the food poisoning ruin it.
Nice dude, what a trip! Miss it already. Not the military roads though, they can do one.
Haha defo man!

Thanks Dave. Yeah food poisoning wasn't great. 😬
What a beast you are 😉west highland way in 3.5 days and this vid just a few days later😄👍
cheers pal. 👍🏻
Great effort! I also found the stone tracks / military roads across Rannoch Moor and Larigmor tough on my feet. Any plans for more thru’ hikes? CWT?
Cheers, yeah those military roads are killer for big miles.
Lots of plans; Cumbria Way, Cape Wrath, Skye Trail etc...👍🏻

I've got an Alpha 60 & Alpha 90 Senchi, both great but i tend to grab the 60 more often.
Find the 90 too warm to hike in.

Ah hi mate. how did you get on?
Nice video and well done for keeping going! Already thought I saw you in Tyndrum but wasn’t sure at the time.
Which shoes did you use btw?
Cheers! I was around the Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum for a resupply.
I used the Hoka Speedgoat 5 mate and they were superb 👌🏻
