I love Harvey but he would be the biggest target to walk into that prison and I don’t think any amount of money and “playing the man” is gonna protect him from everyone.
Frank coulda killed mike easy. I reckon deep down he was intimidated by Harvey at the gates and frank was smart so waited to play it right. Harvey has his flaws but he’s a great guy and really loyal if you scratch just below the surface.

I love on the back on the map episode, Mike is like running to bathroom to save Kevin, after Frank Gallo tells him, he might not be conscious much longer. The way he races to the bathroom to look for him, to save him, great scene. It reminds me of the great scene, from earlier on, when Rachel tells Harvey in the courtroom that the jury are back. He says , where's Mike??? Then he realises he is gone to make a deal with Anita Gibbs, he runs to save him from making the deal. I love those Harvey running scenes.
He probably doesn't know about Mike's eidetic memory for one, and has no reason to suspect he'd know anything about one of the myriad of criminals Harvey put away as a prosecutor while Mike was in high school. Besides, the worst that would happen is Mike would end up not trusting him, which makes his initial deception less effective but doesn't change the fact that he has the power to mess with Harvey through Mike in prison.

They spend the entire season saying Mike took a bullet for Harvey, can't see it that way.
Harvey sees it as Mike taking the bullet for him because he loves Mike and took on that responsibility for himself. He wants Mike safe. Rachel sees it as Mike taking the bullet for Harvey because she loves herself, and is a toxic, abusive, cheating loser, jealous of the bond between Mike and Harvey.
